They're okay, but still a bit shear.
05/13/2011
First off, these are certainly no energy efficient curtains. They are still rather shear. They have no rubber backing (which are the ones you want if you want energy efficient) and real darkness. They feel as though they're made from nylon.
As for the darkening, they work okay, but not as good as my rubber backed curtains. Light still filters through quite a bit.
Regrettably, I took down the blinds in one room and installed these curtains. I was dismayed at the amount of light that came in.
In the next room, I left my blinds in place then installed the curtains. Voila! Much darker.
I don't like the absolute yes or no you must answer if I would recommend this product. There are plenty of "only if they know that..." or "maybe, it depends" kinds of things.
I would recommend this only if people understood that not all light came in, that blinds or another set of curtains helps filter the rest of the light and they are not energy efficient, as they claim.

It has an inner cup seam right down the middle.
03/31/2011
I was very disappointed when I got these bras (I had ordered several online without getting to really see it). The product description, at the time of this writing, does NOT say that there are seams down the inner cups. They go right down the center and they rub... badly.
I hate bras with inner seams and don't understand how anyone can find them comfortable. The cups softness on the inside is of little matter if the seams rubs you.
That said, if you don't have a problem with the seams as I do (perhaps I'm more sensitive than others) then it is a nice comfy bra, but those seams! Ugh. Not for me.
Sad to say, but they're going back today.

Worst coffee pot I've ever owned.
03/06/2011
My husband got me this for my birthday and while I'm thankful for that, this is the worst purchase we've ever made.
I have to concur with other reviews, the problem is the carafe. We've had this since November 2010 and so far I've requested three replacements (at Black & Decker's expense), since it is under warranty for one full year. These replacements only last about 1 week before the problem starts again. In truth, I could easily request 1 replacement per week but that's too much trouble.
The last time I requested another carafe, I asked for an entirely different one since obviously the carafe for this model is defective by design but they still sent me the same type. So they don't really care.
In truth, the lesson learned here is that Black & Decker is not a brand to be trusted. From food processors to coffee grinders to even power tools, everything we have ever purchased by them has been poor in quality and durability. Nothing B&D we've ever owned has lasted more than 6 months. I'm finished with them.

Great deal!
03/06/2011
Normally I don't like to review purchases until I've had them for a good while. I hate it when people write reviews when they just opened the box. What about down the road? What about durability? You can't say that it is a reliable anything unless you've had it a while. However Walmart sent me a nag asking me to review this and so here I am. I do have to say that I don't foresee any problems and I did wait a few weeks before posting this. Also if I DO run into trouble, I'll be sure to post an update.
Love it! The only problems with computers these days is that there aren't nearly enough USB ports on the front for easy access. I only have two ports on the front, but I needed at least 4, and those 4 at all times. I get really sick of having to unplug this, plug in that, unplug that then plug in this. Rather than buying a hub that will sit up higher, this little baby did exactly what I needed. Now no more USB swapping.
I have my printer, portable hard drive, card reader and USB headset always plugged in now. Perfect!
Is the cord short? Yes. That's why it's a portable. Still, it works for me just the way I wanted it to. You can't beat that price.
If I had to list a con, I would say that when you first open the package, the cord is wrapped around the hub and inserted into a slot. Getting it out of that slot for the first time took some work. I thought I'd tear it up before I finally freed that little sucker. Once I managed to work it out of there, all was fine. Just be careful and that's my only warning or complaint.

Excellent buy!
05/15/2010
I bought these in-store at Walmart after searching high and low in various Walmart stores. It seems that they sell out rather quickly, which is always a good sign.
They easily fit right over your glasses, but I would suggest making sure yours fit your frame size before buying. The item description above lists sizes and just measure your own frames.
I noticed right away how clear everything was the moment I put them on. As someone already mentioned, it protects the sun from the sides as well which makes all the difference with me.
They stay on well too. One thing that you cannot tell in the picture is that the arms actually curve to form your head, which makes for a good fit.
The only problem I've had with them is the left arm presses against the left side of my head and after wearing them for about an hour, my head gets sore. I cannot figure out if it is the sunglasses or they're pressing against my own frames, but it doesn't do it on the right side. In any case, it may not be the sunglasses at all.
Overall I'm very pleased with them and am considering buying some as gifts for my kids (now adults) and my mother.
They are just SO handy! I love being able to put them on and take them off without having to either switch glasses OR fitting them onto the front of the frames. These are very convenient.

The Grill Masters Secret!
05/23/2009
This little old fashioned gadget is a dream and an absolute MUST HAVE for any serious griller. It's perfect too for those with a gas grill. The idea here is to create smoke and give your grilled foods a smoked flavor.
Here's what you do... you buy wood chips (hickory or mesquite), then place them in the box and put the box in the center of the grill.
If flare-ups are a problem, then try soaking them in water prior to use.
Keep in mind that it does take practice. Some grills cook longer than others, some cook faster, some people are seriously safety minded and so forth.
Find what works best for you, but this box is amazingly helpful for grilling on any grill. Once you get it right and use it, you'll find it indispensable.

Review mentioned batteries, does this run on batteries?

One review said, "It is ok till you get stuck in the up postion. 12/19/2015 I have this chair for less than 2 weeks and the chair got stuck in the up position. It has no battery back up."

What do they mean battery back up? Isn't it electric and doesn't it plug into the wall?

Where can I find a general store layout for each or most stores?

It would be fantastic if there were a few maps of store layouts available at walmart.com. Mostly I'm speaking of the grocery aisles. I've noticed that the majority of Walmarts are all just about the same. I don't see why I cannot view the current layout when I search for a particular store. In other words, when I do a store location search on walmart.com and I select a store, let's say on Elm St., then the information for the Elm St. store should include a layout map. It could be updated when needed. It would seriously help all of us working parents save time when shopping because we could make our list in the order of the aisles.

Or is there somewhere else I can find this? I've found these two:
http://www.coriolisresearch.com/newsletter/images/walmart_layout_1.gif
AND
http://www.mycoldwater.com/walmart_map.html
but the first one isn't specific enough for groceries and the second one needs fixing (example: beef isn't even listed).

How many watts is it?

This is an excellent question and surprisingly, isn't mentioned in its specs anywhere! Well, anywhere online. I looked on the bottom of mine and here's what it says (I'm adding everything):

SENSIO (sic)
COFFEE MAKER
120V AC ONLY 60HZ 800W
MODEL # TSK-1175R3B

Yes, this is the Bella machine. I'm not sure what the Sensio is all about. Your question falls under the machine I bought online from Walmart.

Do you have to use distilled water in this coffee pot?

Bella dual brew coffee single cup server
No. Naturally you can if you wish, but it's just like any normal coffee pot in that respect.

How tall of a mug can it accomodate? My daughter has a really tall mug that will not fit under a normal Keurig machine, even with the base removed.

About 6 1/2 to 7 inches tall. However, you can only use 15-ounces of water at the max limit.

Does it have automatic shut off

Yes it does. You press the preheat button and it'll heat the water, spit it out, then shut off. You'll want to wait until it's shut off before removing your cup.

What is the inside measurement? Wondering if my travel mug will fit.

The most water you can use is 15-ounces. You'll have to measure how much liquid goes into your travel mug. That said, I don't recommend using that much water for a single k-cup. I've found that the best tasted for a single k-cup comes in at 8-ounces. You can use two though to do it, but measure how much water goes in your travel mug, divide that in half and use that many ounces for each k-cup. So, for example, let's say you have a 16-oz mug. Then use 8 ounces with one k-cup then another 8 with the second k-cup.

Hope this helps.

How many cups are in the 76 oz box?

The previous answer is possibly wrong. This product is 76 ounces by weight NOT by volume. 8 ounces per cup is by volume NOT by weight. You see the problem here. I am buying this box so I'll post the actual measurement when I pick it up.

WHY is it not recommended for carbonated or chilled beverages?

(Referring to Equate sugar-free, non-thickening fiber powder)

I add a little bit of flavored, carbonated water to my water (with powder fiber) which makes me drink more; it's less boring than plain water. So what's wrong with having it with carbonated beverages? (I can't seem to find cheap, flavored water that's not carbonated).
The powder does not dissolve properly in either a cold or carbonated beverage. Do you drink coffee or hot tea? If so, that is a perfect medium to dissolve this fiber in.

does this product cause the stomach to enlarge or bloating

Actually, it is the other way around. Fiber reduces bloating, but it does not occur right away. It takes a few days before it affects change.
