This is the second Storkcraft glider rocker we have purchased ... both were purchased for baby shower gifts. The chair is easily assembled and very sturdy built. Both daughters who recieved them found them to be very comfortable. what a great gift!

Poorly made and poorly shipped

I read TONS of reviews on pretty much all the gliders out there, but in the end I thought I'd try this one out and see if we got lucky... we didn't. There was a scrape in the wood on the front of the seat and one of the screws couldn't be screwed in because there wasn't any threading for it in the chair. This resulted in us not being able to assemble it and we returned it the next day. We went with another chair that is about $50 more, but I liked the style more and seemed to be constructed better. Honestly, with all the poor reviews... go with something better!!!

I had been looking into gliders for quite a long time, but did not really want to spend too much money. After reading other reviews on the Storkcraft Glider/Ottoman from Walmart.com I decided this was the one for me. You can't beat the price, and it is very comfortable. The seat is a little narrower than a few others I have tried out, but it fits me just fine (I'm 28 weeks and still have plenty of room). It was also super easy to put together. It took my husband about 15 minutes while I got all the cushions ready.

I got it for my mom it's easy to set up in less than 30 minutes. affordable and most of all its just so relaxing to sit on it. It was a great deal. Don't think twice of getting it. Shipping was faster than what I expected . Great product!!

The glider rocker just arrived today. I assembled it in no time (easy as pie).... Absolutely an excellent buy for the money. My son whose a toddler got right on my lap and fell asleep within minutes. I'm expecting a scheduled C-section in about one week and this is a great item to have in the nursery or living room for after baby comes home. I would recommend this to any mom!!!

We bought this because we're expecting our 1st child any day now & I needed a comfortable chair/ottoman because I plan to breastfeed our baby. After doing a lot of research on different chairs & knowing we couldn't spend an arm and a leg, I stumbled onto this find & I'm SO glad I did! Not only is it very reasonably priced, it in no way lacks in quality. The cushions are firm, which for me is comfortable. The rocking is smooth, no creaking whatsoever. Also, it only took my husband about 15-20min to set up! I'm very happy with our purchase & know it's going to be great when our precious bundle is here to nurse and be rocked back to sleep!!

I've been wanting a glider for the longest time. I breastfed my now 2 year old and it was often a strain on my neck and back. Now, being pregnant again I am prepared with my new glider. It came on time. Set-up was extremely easy with most of the pieces being pre-assembled. What an awesome chair for the price. It is very comfortable!!!! I sit in it everyday!!!! Also very comfortable to use a desk chair. I love the color of the cushions. The chair looks more expensive than what it really is. Normally, I don't usually purchase furniture from Walmart because I find it to be very cheap and not worth it but after reading all the reviews I decided to order this chair. I am beyond pleased.....And by the way, I am 200+ lbs and the chair supports my weight very well!!!

I have not completely used this with the baby but I have sat on it for a long time gazing at my baby's nursery and absolutely love it!!!! Very comfy.. I do have to add that I am short 4'11... so it fits perfectly... My husband is 5'10 and he also said he loves the way it feels n it was a great price. Also very easy to put together n very fast shipping!! Great job Walmart!!!

This is an excellent product for the price. I've looked at similar rockers at the big nursery stores and this is practically the same rocker for less than half the price. Very easy, quick assembly and good quality wood with very soft cushioning.

It looks very nice in the nursery as the espresso color matches perfectly with the crib and changing table. However, the baby is not born yet so I have not used it, but sitting in it last night for a little while, it's already creaking pretty loud. When my husband put it together, he glued the pieces for more sturdiness. My husband says that the creaking is nothing that a little WD-40 cannot fix so let's see. I just find it crazy that it's already making noises and has not been used yet. Besides the creaking, it looks nice and it's pretty comfy. It was not an expensive chair so I was not expecting perfection.

It saddens me to write after anticipating the arrival of my new glider..it is such poor quality. What has this world come to...not sure where the chair is made, will investigate further. The wood is just so light weight. The cushion covers made me wish my poor old mother was still able to make me some decent slipcovers. We had several rockers in our household growing up, but despite my cry to my siblings, noone was able to locate one of the great old ones. I would say that in the case of this glider, it may serve its purpose, but if you are able to spend more money on a REAL chair, I would suggest you do so. Especially for any young people out there who plan on having a family. Get something that will last. This chair will not. I am just a Grandma wanting to rock my new grandson, so it might work for me. I have to say, it is super easy to put together. I didn't have to oblige my unobliging husband for his help. My 11 year old and I put it together in about 40 minutes. Would you believe that we got the whole thing together, the cushions in place and then we were snapping the arm covers on and the very last snap was defective. I am debating whether I should keep the thing or not or go antiquing. Good luck everyone. Lets write truthful reviews...I don't know what kind of furniture ya'll grew up with, but I thankfully have seen better.......spend a little more and get something quality. You will be glad you did.

Wonderful look and easy to put together. Only down fall was I had it shipped to the store and the box was damaged and it had a nook on the wood, but not large enough for me to return it.

This was a gift and what a great gift it is. My baby and I sit and feed while rocking in this chair. I am also able to read all time favorite stories that have us laughing and falling asleep in our new rocking chair. We love it!
