great value and great style. arrived in a timely manner. easy to put together. modern style. we bought the crib as well and love them both. our baby is not born yet but they are in the nursery waiting for baby to arrive! the crib fits a regular size mattress. there was some confusion about that. but it was no problem.

Assembly was pretty easy like the crib. The changing table is a great add on. As with the crib, wish the directions explained what part is being assembled during each step. Solid and sturdy dresser. Plenty of room. Very satisfied with both products for only seeing them in a picture on line.

Pretty but with problems

This dresser with changing table looks beautiful. It was definitely quite a bit of work to put it together but very doable. Because the drawer sides are real wood, they are not perfectly straight and so you have to work a bit to align everything. Mostly its made well but a couple of the pre-drilled holes were not straight. In one case, that meant a nail inside the top drawer is slightly crooked and now makes a scraping noise everytime we open and close that drawer. The assembly directions are a bit challenging - wish they'd been clearer with details such as exactly where to find the predrilled hole or how many times you have to repeat a certain direction... Also pics are small and the details you need are not always obvious at first - because of this, pay close attention as you put it together.
Overall we love the size and way it looks, but have two other major problems. First, the sides and top of the dresser had scratches on them, and the changing tray had a nick. But it took so much work to put it together that we are going to keep the one we have. Second, the drawers open and close well but a little noisily (there is a clicking noise as they're opened and closed). We're worried this will wake baby up so will have to be careful not to use it when she's sleeping.

My husband put this together in about an hour by himself. The crib is wide and I think we will be able to put quite a bit of stuff in each drawer. I'm very happy with how it looks with the crib and the height is perfect for changing baby!

Not worth it at all -- completely fell apart

I was very optimistic about this changing table because of the positive reviews on the site. We also ordered the ParkLane crib, and we're very happy with it. However, this changing table is made of terrible materials. While my husband was assembling it, it completely fell apart (the cheap pressed wood split on both sides of the changing table, ruining it). We are going to be returning this item. I'm glad that it fell apart before we had a chance to put our baby on it.
I thought, since it was the same model as the crib, that it would be made of solid wood, just like the crib. The truth is that the major support structures -- the sides, the back, etc. -- are made of either pressed wood or particleboard.
I will be purchasing a solid wood dresser to use as a changing table -- don't waste your time or money with this.

I love this changing table! It's so much better looking in person than in the Walmart photo! Very sturdy, and eco-friendly construction. I know we will enjoy this for years.

I love this whole set. The changing table is really nice looking! It's the perfect size for a small nursery. Which is what we are having to deal with. The only problem we had was our fault. We put the changing table tray on backwards and screwed it in. We have to buy wood filler to fix it, but that wont be too much of a problem. Overall, i love this changing table and it would be worth your buy!!!

We bought this as a less-expensive alternative to a similar nursery set offered at the modern baby stores around town. It is actually the same set but the wood finish is lighter on the Wal-Mart version, which we actually preferred (and the Wal-Mart version is literally half the price). The dresser and changing table have survived two babies constantly opening and shutting the drawers, bumping into it, being changed, etc and looks great. We get compliments on it all the time.

I purchased this after I decided I wanted my changing table to match the 2 Parklane cribs I bought for my twins. The dresser is cute, and installation was simple. The piece does have a smell, and I am happy we assebled it a few months before the babies arrival so that the odor wears off. I have put clothes in the drawers so I hope I don't have to wash them again to get any residual smell off. We did not put the changing table holder on, we just nailed the changing table straps that are part of the mattress to the back of the dresser. We did this with our son and another dresser when he was a baby, and the dresser was not scratched or damaged at all when he was ready to use it as a dresser only.

Unlike its crib counterpart, our changer came with all parts in working order and it was easy to put together. No frustration at having to order replacement pieces from the manufacturer!
As others mentioned the drawers do have a strong smell. We took them out once assembled and aired them out on our porch. Also, it fit our contoured changing pad perfectly.
This is a nice complement piece to an affordable modern look design. Was pleased to find it!

Great beyond just the baby stage

We bought this about 3.5 years ago for baby #1. We're now expecting #2 and just bought a second ParkLane changer/dresser for the new baby. This is a perfect dresser for a little kid as they can open and close the drawers very easily and the cut-outs instead of knobs help prevent little fingers from getting squished.
There's a 30" changing pad you can find online from LABaby that works perfect and even leaves enough space in the corners for creams/lotions/powder.
We did end up gluing the bottom part of the changer tray to the side frames as it would pop out every now and then but after that there's been no problem.

We got this for the style - thinking it would be good for longer than our baby boy would be a baby. We are so glad - it is good quality and stylish.
It is easy for a now 2-year-old to help dress himself. The drawers slide smoothly. Solid, quality pieces - easy to assemble. Gorgeous amber color - picture is true to the piece. Nice finish. Perfect proportions. Couldn't be happier.
Now we are just looking to add to the ensemble as he is getting older. The finish is still perfect after 2.5 years of constant daily use.
When will ModBaby come up with furniture for the rest of our house? :)

Not only is this drawer changer unit useful and efficient, it is an affordable piece for any modern nursery decor. The changer part can be taken off at a later date so it will grow with your family. I also read other reviews that finding a changing pad to fit was an issue but we already had the 'munchkin brand' changing pad and it fit perfectly so do not be concerned that you wont be able to fit a regular size changing pad. The piece is much larger and substantial than how it looks in the picture and it is the perfect height to save your back. Ours look wonderful next to the babymod parklane cribs we previously purchased and the drawers are large and fit tons. Like all drawers I wouldnt cram them full as the bottoms of drawers are always made of the thin wood but the quality overall of this piece is fantastic. Well worth the spend.

This dresser/changing table is so nice. I got the matching crib first and then decided I wanted this, too. The pictures don't show that the sides have the amber wood, which makes it look better in person than I expected. It was easy to assemble, although we did have to guess on some of the directions, like which way to attach the back panels (we opted to have the darker color facing out). The changing tray is kind of an odd size, but we bought a standard 32 x 16 contoured changing pad, and it works just fine; we just have to stuff it in a little. Overall, it looks great and my son's nursery is really cute.

This piece was exactly what we were looking for in style and price. We shipped to store and it arrived in 4 days. I brought it home and assembled it in about an hour without any horror stories.
It's made well enough that in 2 years when our son outgrows it, we'll find a new home for it rather than sending it to the landfill.

Looks great and easy to put together. Just make sure you get a side attachment organizer or be prepared to use one of the drawers for diapering supplies, because there is not additional room on top for organization.

This changing table is amazing for the price. We were looking at modern furniture that was about 3-4 times the price and when we thought about how we'll use it for probably only two children we went with the cheaper crib and changer. I say cheaper but it really doesn't feel cheaper, strong construction and all wood. It's not as "green" as I would like it but I am dealing and our baby will have organic mattress and clothes, she'll be fine.
It does take a while to put together, about 2-3 hours but it was well worth it. It can in the mail about 3 days after ordering it which was awesome.
I saw some suggestions on some other reviews and I wanted to comment on them to help out anyone else. Someone suggested getting the rubber bumpers for the top of the dresser for the changing portion, they actually come with them in the box now. I'm assuming the manufacturer saw this and added them in, which is great. We also were planning on getting a smaller changing pad but when my husband put it together our larger pad fit perfectly into the top. Which was great as well! We also got the Parklane crib that matches it as you can see in the pictures, we love this as well and the extra storage on the bottom is key for our small condo.
