A Bad Decision

I recently purchased two collector’s edition 75th anniversary DVD tins, one for myself and one as a birthday gift for my son. I have never been more disappointed with anything I have purchased as much as I am with these so called 75 years of enjoying the Three Stooges. The photo cards are great but none of the DVD's showed any of the films depicted on the cards. I can remember watching The Three Stooges when I was a mere child and I remember seeing many of these short movies with the first Curley Joe. Every thing you sell with the 3 stooges on the covers the original Curly Joe is on everything. It is a scam just like everything else. If I would have wanted cartoons I would have bought cartoons. If I wanted to see Shemp, I would have looked specifically for movies with him in them. The films on this set are of the poorest quality I have ever seen.

I expected so much more being the 75 th special edition. The picture and sound was extremely poor and there were only a few episodes to actually watch the rest is documentary of fans and grandchildren which who cares!!! I wanted episodes! Best part was booklets with possible unknown facts about characters and that the tin it comes in talks. Whoop-to-do.

I looked at the menu for all the disks, after I allready opened it,and it looks like there is more episodes than just four. I really was'nt interested in there cartoons,in which there was more of these instead of the episodes. I did like the bio.,kind of short, but interesting. If I new of this I would have saved the money and bought the whole 1-8 edition.

This collection had some of the cartoons and video segments that enticed me to purchase, but once I opened it--I was disappointed. The packaging was the best part. The screen saver did not work on all three of my computers and alot of the features were just repeated on the other discs.
