Told my hubby we would not go past HDTV and after seeing the picture on this one, I don't see why we would need to, it's that good. We don't need anything bigger, as our apartment is rather small....So this one is just right! Love, love, love it! Highly recommend, highly, highly recommend!

Wow Fed Ex pulled up days before we were expecting. I am thrilled with the clarity and performance of this product. Easy to put together and install. If you have Blue Ray you will need extra HDMI cable. Great price ,grab one before they are gone if your shopping for TV. Has a nice solid base and tilt screen. Not a cheap plastic base like alot of them have.

First purchase of HD TV. Have not had long enough to adequately rate. Picture quality was not good using DirecTV standard receiver. Switch to HD receiver cost $100 but is necessary to get expected picture quality. After receiver installation, closed captioning did not work. Have yet to attempt a fix for this problem.

Perfect for my needs which is just basic TV watching. Good picture and easy to set up. Don't pay extra for express shipping. I went with the basic shipping option and Fed Ex dropped it off in 2 days and carried it inside the house for my wife who was home alone and couldn't lift it.

I have had this TV for just over a week and so far am happy with my purchase. It has a good picture and is easy to figure out. As others have said, the sound quality isn't the best, but it's not as horrible as other reviews made it sound. Overall happy with my purchase.

My husband hooked his computer and his playstation up to his new RCA and it is awesome. The picture quality and the sound is great on everything from online surfing to mmo's to the ps3 games to blu-rays. We had it delivered to our local Walmart and it was hassle-free and the employees were very professional and friendly. This was an all around great experience.

After 2 weeks it quit working because there was no power getting to it. It would not turn on. RCA came out then ordered a new board then came again and replaced it. It then worked for 6 days before it quit again. No power getting to the TV, no lights, nothing. I returned it to Walmart.

Must Fine Tune Picture

When 1st installed using a standard coax cable 480p, the picture is a little dark and red. You can easily adjust the User Settings to be a little brighter and less rd. Then hooked up to HDMI 1080i and the picture is great. Can use the standard picture settings, but I like my custom User Picture Settings. Sound is great. Not sure about the negative comments on this. NOTE: Only 2 HDMI ports and no PC/Audio In. The RCA Manual, stating the 2012 models, has 4 HDMI and both Component and Composit. On the Walmart Unit, it was 2 HDMI and Component/Composit share the audio. Ok for me as this is the bedroom tv. But would have been nice to have the PC/Audio in opion to hook up my laptop. Will have to use the other HDMI input for that. Great price. Got it for less than $300 and free shipping to store. Had it for 3 months and hope it lasts 15yrs like my other RCA tv's. But I got the extended warranty just in case.

I bought this tv for my study for Christmas . I am so happy with the picture quality and the price was great. I have a 60 inch Samsung in my living room that I paid much more for picture is no better than this tv. I ordered on line had it shipped to my Walmart no damage whatsoever. That's why my family believes and says you have to shop Walmart .

I bought this tv online on black friday & two days later it was in my room. I use it for gaming manely for the xbox & i also have a HDMI cable & this tv gives it all. The picture is mint and clean and the sound i only need it at 10-20 and the tv is loud at that volume to me & thats not even half way for the volume capacity. Just a great tv overall im happy and no problems with it at all. I use it all day everyday and no problem what so ever. I would recommend buying a tv warrenty as i did just in case.

I bought this on black friday for $250 and it was a great buy. The size is perfect for how close we sit to the tv (about 6ft away); that's very important when deciding screen size. I love the picture quality; much better than my 7 year old 32" 720p Visio. The pedestal is heavy and very sturdy and swivels.
Make sure you change the settings on any devices you hook up to it to 1080p widescreen. You can tell what the device (like a dvd player or xbox or whatever) is programmed to because when you turn it on, the tv will show it in the top right corner (480, 720p, 1080p, etc).
The streaming box I hooked up to it was defaulted to 480 standard screen, so when I changed it to 1080p widescreen it made a huge difference!
My only disappointment was the sound. The sound will get loud; however the speakers are in the back of the tv! If you are in the bedroom that shares a wall with the tv, then you can hear it louder than you can in the living room. It's not that big of deal, just a waste of good speakers. I'm going to have to hook up a soundbar.

Poor picture quality

Based on the ratings and reviews, I thought it would be a great buy but I was wrong. Picture Quality is far from excellent but "acceptable." Especially when you stream movies online, the poor picture quality (pixelation) makes dark colors and transition look extremely rough. Although TV shows look fair in distance. Sound quality is not as bad as some reviews say. Remote control lacks mute bottom. Simple manual, easy to set up. Overall, I'm not happy with my purchase. I wish I had a chance to return.

This particular brand is not sold in the Wal-Mart store that I frequent, and I found it online for a fabulous sale price. I went ahead and ordered it, sight unseen, and upon delivery I was pleasantly surprised - it has a good picture and good sound. It also swivels, which is a nice touch. No issues so far - I would definitely recommend it....RCA, definitely a brand that is an oldie, but goodie.

So good that it shows how low my satellite signal quality is. Much better with blue ray. Probably too big for the bedroom. No audio outputs, only headphone jack. Cant use surround sound from TV. Must use other source

bought this for my bedroom to replace a 32 Lg, which I love the Lg tvs. Not disappointed at all. The price could not be beat. The colors and the picture are wonderful, very vivid. Sound could be better, but plenty sound for my bedroom, which is not a huge room. Do not really care so much about features and extras for hookups. Looking for another one to come on sale again. I bought this one for $288,online free shipping.
