Great TV for the Price Range

This TV far exceeded my expectations. I use it for a computer monitor and it works well. The picture is great for the price. Since it is an LCD panel, the blacks will never get completely black, but if you are watching a movie, you most likely won't even notice. The refresh rate seems good enough for gaming. I didn't detect any difference between it and my previous Dell monitor.
It is a pretty slim TV, which is nice. Also, it has a decent array of ports for a TV of this budget. I cannot vouch for the sound quality, I use external speakers and haven't heard the onboard speakers yet.
Complaints: The stand on the TV is not extremely sturdy. If you bump the TV, you will notice a wobble. This isn't a concern if you have it in a stable environment, but I would consider looking elsewhere if you expect a lot of action to be going on around the TV (with the occasional bump). Also, the TV shows a red light when it is off. While for some this may be nice, if you are planning on keeping it in a bedroom and are picky (I am) you might be annoyed by the light.
These complaints don't take away any stars because of the price-point of the TV and the quality of picture. If you are looking for a cheap/large computer monitor or a bedroom TV on a budget, I wouldn't look elsewhere.

I purchased this TV based upon the positive reviews and price. I was quite disappointed that the picture quality was poor. You could easily see the pixels and the picture was dark even after changing the settings. I felt my old box TV had a better picture. Additionally, all of the channels were cut off on each side so not all of the program could be seen. I ended up returning it for a Vizio (we already have a 55") and was much more impressed.

First I made the mistake of not reading the manual I didn't know there was a vga port. It is hidden away from the side on the bottom. So I purchased a new video card with HDMI output. Then when I turned the computer on there were items I couldn't see. I finally figured out I had to adjust the screen size on the television. I had selected normal but this was wrong as I needed to select 100%. Waaa laaa perfect picture brighter than the old 19 inch monitor. Very pleased so far.

Great price!!! Great picture, more features and connections than 2 other top of the line TVs I have. Needs better speakers, but an old set of Altec Lansing computer speakers worked great. Don't forget the GREAT PRICE!

I needed a t.v. for my 'man cave' while the wife watches The VOICE on the main TV. Mine is 32" and fits perfectly into the space allotted. Now I can swing from my computer monitor to the TV or I can listen to the news in the background. LOVE IT!!!

We bought this on line mainly because it was a 1080 and 32 inch. Got it home and set it up. It turns on and thats it!! no picture, no soundl no menu, nothing!!!! returned and bought the 39 inch vizio. Love that one!!! Should have know the price was too good! you get what you pay for!!

I HAD PLANS OF GETTING A 32 INCH SOMETIME. HAD WALMART ON THE LIST. MY 19 INCH TV WENT OUT AND WALMART WAS ON SALE AND TO THE RESCUE. PURCHASED THE 32 INCH AND NOW ITS HOME. HAVE TO READ UP ON IT. THANK YOU DAD TOOK ME TO THE STORE TO PICK UP THE TV.

Really bad product and SCENTRE warranty response!!!! After three and one half months, picture and sound just went out. The frustating part is that the SCEPTRE company would NOT answer my phone calls or emails. I am writing this review five days since my last call and still have NOT heard from the SCENTRE CO. I was very fortunate I received great response from WAL MART CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANK YOU WAL MART!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this with the "@.com Articulating Wall Mount for 10" to 37" Flat Panel TVs, Black", and it works amazing. The tv came in the ox with only the tv & stand. But hands down sceptre customer service is great, just talk to a rep and the only question they had was "what's your address". Received it in a day and no other issues since. Picture quality not the best compared to my 42", so not recommend for living or family room but a bed or den, perfect. Bought the mount w it and goes on beautifully. One of the easiest mounts to install and I hang TVs for DISH. Speakers are on the bottom pointing slightly back... For a mounted tv, this is ok. But for a free standing the audio sounds a little off. Remote has many nice features they don't tell you about like freeze frame & a sleep timer. Power cable is long enough to hang at 6' and have slack. 3 hdmi ports and 2 hd comp ports, your set for hd. All in all I love the setup, price for tv & mount was at $250 shipped to store and had both by a week. If your looking for a nice smaller tv for a small rm, this is it but go ahead and pay the extra $100-200 for a nicer tv for you family rm.

I read the reviews for this product and it sounded like a fair product for the price. We hooked the TV up as some reviews stated but we still find the picture grainy looking. Very noticeable when you turn the TV on at first , but then seems to go away. Not really excited about our purchase.

This is the 5th TV, flat screen I have purchased from Walmart on-line. It was delivered to the store before the time frame set. When I went to get the item, I inspected the crate, excellent condition; the associate very nicely groom, well mannered, helped me with the item and informed me of the warranty and showed me some related products that I might wish to purchase along with the Flat Screen. When I got it home , set up was EASY, the guide menu for the controls very easy to find and change as needed. Picture/Screen image is GREAT. Sound very well, product might need more of a bass sound added to it. I installed this in my wife bedroom, she loves it. It is very well made and so far I have NO issue with this product, to me it was a GREAT Purchase,,TYVM WALMART.....

We bought this TV for our sunroom. The Picture is great and the menus are easy to figure out. If there is one complaint and trust me this is not a complaint, the Speakers built in to the TV are not the Greatest, but for a TV with this price tag they more then meet my expectations. we had an older DVD/2 channel surround system that we use on it, problem solved. Great Buy

First HDTV And I Love It

For almost a year, I have doing much research on HDTV's and I could never make up my mind, and the prices of the well known brands were a bit too high for me. I finally made my choice, and I am glad I picked Sceptre, not only for the low price, but the picture is absolutely amazing and the sound is good. Only two little things bother me and that is a stuck pixel towards the top of the screen, but this is very minor, and there is a very low hum noise when using my headphones at night watching tv. However, the good things about this model and brand far outweigh the little annoyance. Great for the bedroom, great for movies on the Roku player watching netflix, but I use the old RCA for cable news. The 4 year warranty brings me peace of mind, and I am quite satisfied with this purchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone without any hesitation.
