The Nine Stars Motion Sensor Trash Can is a perfect solution to get rid of the everyday waste that accumulates in your house. It is touch-free and very easy to use. The black touchless trash can automatically opens when you bring your hand near it and closes 3 seconds after you move your hand away. It is safe and convenient, eliminating the cross-contamination of germs. This trash can has a capacity of 13.2 gallons/50 liters. To facilitate early detection, the sensor is set at 20-degree angle. This 13.2-gallon trash can is powered up by 3 C batteries.

I needed a new kitchen trash can, wanted 13 gallon and wanted one that opened with a foot lever.
There were none available so I found this one with the sensor to open the lid. SO far it is OK. Clean looking and works fine. Opening is a good size. The 13 gallon trash bags fit it well. It did cost more than what I wanted to spend but what does not these days.... Time will tell if it holds up
and how long the batteries last. I would recommend this product to a friend if asked.

I was disappointed not to have a chance to use the item. It arrived damaged in 3 to 4 places. I hope that management will have shippers to exercise due care when moving packages.

Great item! I’ve had this trash can since the beginning of September and it is still running on the same set of batteries. It holds a lot. I love that you can hide the trash bag. Very easy to clean. I love the hands free option. We are a family of 5 including a toddler. The touchless is great for my daughter. We love this trashcan!

I bought this trash can w/automatic soap dispenser for $30, one year ago. I absolutely love it. Works great. Haven't had any problems. Still using the original batteries, I have five kids and it gets used a lot (does not waste a lot of battery power). I would definitely recommend this product. Also, matches great with my stainless steel/black appliances ;)

We just got this trash can so I can't speak on how well it holds up, but so far we love it. It's just sensitive enough that it opens when you need it and not when you don't (like when you walk by). Sometimes it gets confused when I reach over it to get something out of the cabinet above where we keep it, but that's to be expected.
13 gallon trash bags fit perfectly and the can is nice and light - making it easy to move - but it's substantial enough that it doesn't fall over either.

Got this for a friend after his old garbage can grew maggots from leaving it on vacation for a week with a few tomatoes inside. He tried to clean it, it broke, and I felt sorry for him. So I bought him this one to replace it. He loves it and I loved watching him use it via Skype. It has a really awesome response time and I love how it opens and shuts. Totally worth the money I spent on him.

I have a motion sensor trash can for my home that is so much nicer and better quality than this one. I paid about the same price for mine and thought I was buying my daughter one of similiar quality. It wasn't. It came with 2 small dents in the front even though it was packed well. But ... it's a trash can so I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. My daughter was fine with it. It does work well for what it was intended for ... a moton sensor touchless trash can, so we'll go ahead and keep it.

I purchased this black wastecan because I wanted something I would not have to touch the lid to throw away trash or food. My old lid always got dirty opening it to throw food away. The can seems very durable and is metal. The opening is wide enough to get most anything in the wastecan. It does open sometime when you pass by it, but overall is a great can and I would recommend it to anyone. It has a ring to hold the liner in place and is large enough to hold a 13 gallon liner. If you want something to keep germs and bacteria off your hands and your little ones, this is the item.. ,love it

I didn't like it, we returned it to the store. It didn't always open easily when you wanted it to, but when you walked by it it would open, kinda annoying & didn't want to deal with the hassle of it only working sometimes & it seemed hard to find the right place for the sensor for the lid to open.

I bought two of these and they looked great in my kitchen because they matched all my black appliances. The only thing I can say about this is that I wish the plastic liner that holds the plastic is thicker because it's very thin and looks like it may break easily. The "stainless or silver" design is just a paint and I received one of the trash can with some peeling at the back side.
