I purchased this for a preemie who was about 4 pounds. It worked great. Well constructed and light. I liked the fact that it was narrow, for those who need more than one seat in the back.

I haven't gotten to use this yet, but from playing around with it, it is very easy to remove carrier from base and to put back on base. It seems like it would be pretty comfortable for baby.

I recently purchased this car seat for my preemie before she could come home ,she had to have a car seat that would carry a 4lb baby, and thanks to wal-mart, I got this car seat for a reasonable price compared to other stores that wanted to charge close to $200.00, thanks wal-mart, plus she fits in it perfectly
