The Uniflame 10,000 BTU Grill is ideal for picnics, camps and outdoor uses. The grill comes in deep cobalt and folds neatly like a travel case so you carry it anywhere easily. Unlike most conventional ones, this foldable gas grill sports a space-saving design and weighs at only 11.1 pounds. It has two built-in racks, one for cooking and the other for warming. The primary cooking surface measures 198 sq inches while the warming are spans 116 sq inches. Ergonomically designed, the grill features a bottom bowl is made of baked enamel. Also, it sports a hinged lid that has a 2-piece Bakelite handle. 10,000 BTU rating holds you in good stead for most outdoor cooking needs. The portable gas grill is remarkably easy to clean. To facilitate hassle-free cleaning, the cooking grid is made of porcelain while the warming rack and heating plate are chrome plated and aluminum plated respectively. Furthermore, the Uniflame grill is easy to assemble sports foldable legs that are made of enamel.

Bought this grill because the balcony at our apartment is small and figured it was compact enough to take camping. Grill was easy enough to assemble. After a couple uses discovered the grill was horribly constructed. The burner was way to close to the grate and the flame dispersing thing above the burner tended to catch any drippings off the food being cooked and in turn set everything on fire. Had way too many flare ups. There is a flame control knob but after a couple of uses there seemed to be no difference in flame whether the knob was at low or high. Flame stayed high the entire time and only seemed to work on the left side of the grill. After about a month of use the entire grill was falling apart. Ended up tossing. Wont buy anything like this again. If you want something that will last at least an entire grilling season spend a little extra and avoid this disappointment.

Just right for a travel trailer

We just recently purchased a 28' travel trailer and wanted a small table top bbq and this has been perfect for our needs! Easy to assemble. It may look small but it can handle alot of food to cook at once. We love that the legs fold when not in use for easy storage, the lid locks, there is a temperature gauge on the lid, the upper rack can be removed, if you don't want to cook directly on the grill it will accommodate a nice size baking pan with the lid closed and it's lightweight to carry! Purchased separate we use 1 small propane tank in 3-4 meals and we buy those also at Walmart at a great price. We highly recommend this item!

A Tinny, Junky Pain in the Butt

I've had this grill for 1 yr and I would like to punt this grill across my yard. I got it via a "Site to Store" order. When I got it home and opened the box, the top of it was pushed in, an area about the size of a saucer. This should have been an indicator about how tinny and cheap this thing is... It weighs very little, much lighter than you would expect it to weigh from the photo. This should tell you something. It's made of the thinnest, cheapest metal you can imagine... But since I rationalized that the dent wasn't going to affect cooking anything and I didn't feel like driving back to Walmart, I kept it and popped it back out as best I could. After assembly, the legs on one side kept sliding outward, making the thing not sit quite balanced and with a lean, even though I've tightened them over and over. This gets worse every time I collapse and open them to store and use the grill. Then, the regulator for the gas tank would not and will not remain on the highest setting. It slowly changes, reducing the flame as I cook. And again, because it is so light weight, a thunderstorm blew the entire thing off the table I had it on one afternoon. This ridiculous excuse for a grill is going in the trash. DO NOT WASTE your money!!!

I have owned at least 3 of these tabletop grills over the past several years. It does everything that a $500 grill will do if you know how to grill. I can cook the most tender Steak that's ever been cooked on this grill. I've also cooked ribs, burgers etc.. on it with no problem. If it is not cleaned, it will begin rusting out after about 2 years but for $23 just go buy a new one. I've owned VERY EXPENSIVE Grills in the past and I can cook "Just as good" on this portable Grill. It's great for Camping, Tailgating etc.... I DEFINATELY RECOMMEND this Grill !!!!

Tested tried and true...as long as someone has the tools and patience to put it together.. fyi, assemble before you go camping, must burn grill for 15 minutes to "season" grill... kinda scary.. emissions.. but otherwise functioned well for both stove top and grilling style cooking.

There is no temperature control. You turn the knob but the flame does not change.
There needs to be a better design for catching drippings. All the drippings flow to the bottom of the barbecue and out the mounting holes for the legs.l I have to set mine on cardboard to use it otherwise the table on which it sits gets covered in grease.
Flares up and burns everything...even the better quality steaks. Have to cook on the warming grill.

Taking this on a weekend river float trip so I didn't want to spend too much. It went together very well and seems to be a good grill for the price. I have not used it yet but everything looks like it will work just fine.

Very nice, sturdy and well made. Putting it together was time consuming, but instructions were clear, with pictures. We put it together in an afternoon, fired it up and were grilling by the evening. Love the warmer rack; and the latch and handle for ease of carrying and compact enough for small storage area. You will need a drip can of some sort, we used an empty bean can. Smart buy!

Overall, for the price no one can complain. I came across this at Target and then I thought I better check walmart for a lower price, and believe it or not-it was cheaper. I ordered it and it took me about 20 minutes to assemble and I was impressed. There's enough room to grill about 6 burgers and toast the buns too. All in all, it's light and easy to transport and makes events more eventful, I would recommend this grill but don't expect performance as a Weber charcoal grill.

Perhaps some may not like to put things together and this would be a challenge for them. For me, however, it took 30 minutes and all the parts were there and well marked.
One flaw I found is the latch. It is weak. But with the side handles to use to lift and carry, and the grills lightness, it is easy to handle.
I would buy it again.

Outstanding results but it takes a bit of an effort to assemble. I read a review where the reviewer assembled the grill in 20 minutes. No way unless he had special skills. Allow 1 to 2 hours. Packaged material list easy to follow but a lot of parts. Make sure to follow instructions to avoid redos. I had redos. You can not match the value of this grill. I paid about $20. Best portable I have ever had.

It took a little while to put together - but I prefer something I have put together because nuts & bolts can be tightened or easily replaced if necessary but rivets are not so easily dealt with. The grill worked perfectly & is adequate for cooking meals for at least 4. Overall a tremendous deal for the price. Also, because of the smaller size & "collapsibilty" it is easy to take along on the boat or when travelling.
