My life partner purchased this item in my absence. Once I pulled the purchase up in emails, I reviewed the product; and, knew it was NOT what we were looking for. He had made a purchase - thinking it was a freezer. Not only was it NOT a freezer - but, when it arrived, the word 'REFRIGERATOR' was in bold print - no mention at all about a "freezer". I had also read the reviews; and, realized that "if it DID have a freezer compartment - it was a very, very small portion". The REFRIGERATOR was returned to the local Wal-Mart store immediately. Never has a problem returning items to the store! That's the good part.....LOL.

treated very rough, package was all torn. when we got it open had a dent in back, he said it was ok so we didn't bother to take it back. also had to adjust door. it did not shut right. the product it self was good, just the handling part.

This item was returned to Walmart in Ottawa Ohio. It looked as if it was kicked all the way here. The door was loose so I laid it down to see if I could tighten, but the screws were missing, and the bottom had masking tape repairs.
The delivery driver pointed out the package damage but it seemed ok to me. Once plugged in the unit wouldn't cool below 50 degrees.
I took it back and purchased another fridge for 20.00 more.
I don't think I will purchase on line again.

Should serve the purpose that I have. Outside was packaged poorly which I mentioned at pickup. I was assured that it was till protected. However, there were several dents in the refrigerator exterior. I am currently checking the operation before I decide to return or keep.

The refrigerator as it comes from the manufacturer is great, my problem is with what was shipped and how it was shipped.
This must have been a previously returned unit.
The box had been opened and not all the packing material was there.
Therefore even though there was no obvious damage to the box, upon opening it I found the door damaged, and part of the bottom hinge missing.
Rather than going through the expense of shipping the unit back I got some parts from the local hardware store to make the unit functional.

It's not a top of the line appliance and I knew that before purchasing, so my expectations were not very high. When I picked it up at my local Walmart, I noticed the box was damaged and in fairly rough shape. I pointed that out to the clerk and was told I could bring it back if there were any problems. When I unboxed it at home, the side near the bottom was crushed in and one of the adjustable feet was missing. Had to order another one and it came in a few days later. It has a small dent in the side but I decided to just live with it. Overall, I'm moderately happy with it. It's not very quiet and is a little distracting while I'm watching TV.

Lots of room inside. The freezer is large enough for a normal ice tray. It was easy to adjust the feet to make it level. It arrived with the top back corner dented. Since it still worked fine I just put a cloth over it rather than hassle with trying to return something so heavy.

I received this as a gift for my birthday. It was ordered using site to store shipping. When we went to pick it up, both the fridge and the box were badly damaged. I returned it, and ordered a second one in a different color. Again, the refrigerator was badly damaged-there were dents all over the exterior and the box was falling apart. Based on the appearance of the box alone, this fridge should have never been sold.
I will not be ordering this fridge a third time or any other fridge from this site.

The horror stories in other reviews relating to the packing of this unit are all true. The bottom of the box of the unit that I received would have fallen off had it not been for two nylon straps holding it on. The unit itself had three dings on the door. Small ice cubes take a long time to freeze and there is no light which is a big negative for my personal application. On the positive side… it keeps my beverages cold. The compressor seems to run a lot at upper mid-range settings but the motor is not excessively noisy. The nicest part is the price. Even if it only lasts a couple of years it will have done its job as far as I am concerned.

Good fridge for price

The fridge showed up with a few scuffs and minor dents from shipping. It really isn't noticeable unless you look for the damage. I've only had the fridge for a week but so far so good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when you close the door, the seal isn't the tightest. It's not a door that you can just swing in and have it shut tight. You need to make sure you push it back in all the way without letting the door go before it's closed. Not a big issue but I personally like a fridge that I can just swing the door shut. It keeps everything cold and is very quiet. Overall a good fridge.

The refrigerator I ordered was shipped very fast . But the box it came in was rough looking like it had been beat around. When I unwrapped it , there is a dent in the door. The temperature adjustment goes to number 7 and that is where it is set. Just to get it to cool. I just have pop in it and it took 2 days at level 7 to get it cool enough to drink. I AM NOT IMPRESSED.

After viewing all the data about this refrigerator including looking at other sites for additional specifications for this model. I bought it because it appeared that it would have glass shelves instead of the wire shelves that aren't stable for beer bottles to stand up. Price was great and I thought Igloo would be a brand I could trust. Anyway, when I opened the box the first thing I noticed was that the back left corner had been bent during shipping. Then when I opened the door, I found that it did not have glass shelves and the inside did not resemble the picture on the Wal-Mart web-site. Needless to say, this one is going back!! I'll have to find another more acceptable product somewhere. I also bought a second one for my other home; it will be going back as well!!
