Very cute & looks like it will be comfortable for my baby boy, who should be here any day. It was very easy to set up & looks great. My only issue is that I wish it had the ability to lay flat as well so he wouldn't always be in a cradled position while in it, but it's still very nice. Overall, would definitely recommend to a friend.

My infant can rock herself with her body movements ON HARDWOOD ONLY. she cannot rock herself on carpet. I have to. But its great for travel and easy to set up and move! She loves it and I can set her in the kitchen while cooking and shes content. Love it.

Review 4 for Fisher-Price - Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
Our two-week-old baby sleeps well in this rocker, and it is fairly easy to transport from room to room (although when I am trying to do so with baby in one arm and rocker in the other, I hit a lot of walls). I like being able to have it right next to my bed at night, and then in the kitchen all day so I have a place to set him when I am getting other kids off to school, or dinner ready, etc. For us it has been well worth the money, especially with Walmart's $.97 shipping. We've only used this for two weeks, but we don't have any complaints yet!

This thing is so handy! My baby pretty much lives in this thing since he sleeps alot. It fits right next to my bed for night time and is easily moved into the living room for the day time. It is light and super easy to fold for storage. I cannot say enough about this and would recommend this to any parents to be.

It's the only thing baby will sleep in!

My high maintenance daughter is 3 1/2 months old and has slept soundly in this sleeper since she came home from the hospital. It's helped me to win battles when she's overtired and overstimulated. It's a bad combination that has fully tested my sanity at times! As soon as I start rocking her, she starts crying less and less until she is finally out. If she starts to stir from the noise of her rambunctious brother, I just gently rock her again.
PROS: Easy set up and folds up easily for storage, light weight, and uses very little space. The padding is easy to remove for cleaning and easy to reattach (Why can't car seat covers be that easy?!). It sits at a good mid-level so she feels closer to me when she is sitting next to my recliner or the bed. Works great for co-sleeping. The material is also great for surface cleaning between washes. I use citrus infused vinager and a dry cloth to disinfect it, and have not had any problems with mildewing or molding that have been reported in recent recalls.
CONS: If you're rocking it with your foot, it scoots away on carpet. It drives my husband crazy, but I've learned to improvise with my toes. I know that sounds silly, but I wish there was a gripper bottom added to it. I've thought about sanding the bottom rails and possible adding a few dabs of caulk to it to keep it from slipping. It's not a major issue, so I still give this product 5 stars. Also, don't get too excited about the "play" feature. It's just a rattle that connects to the seat belt, lol. I just removed the rattle and it now hangs on her gym mat for play time. It would be nice if it had a way of attatching a toy bar or mobile instead. To me, that's more of a play feature rather than a rattle.

We bought a rock n' play after reading so many great review for it and having a sleepless night with our newborn involving lots of crying. It was amazing and we were so glad we purchased it! Our daughter slept great it in for months and once she was too big for it we moved her to her crib without too much of an issue. When my best friend had her baby I gave it to her to try out and she also had success with it. I recommend it to everyone and will definitely have one around for our next baby!

Review 9 for Fisher-Price - Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper
The only thing I would change is the material. I wish it was a little softer and warmer. It is winter here and when my daughter is not laying in it is gets cold, and I think that startles her awake. Overall it is a good product, and I would still buy it. Great price to!

My son slept in this sleeper until he was 11 weeks old (before I move him to his crib). As a first time mommy it gave me piece of mind to have my baby sleeping right next me and on an incline to reduce choking from spit ups. I would definitely recommend to all new parents. We also used it until he was about 5 months old to sit in while my husband and I got ready for work. He grew out of it after that but we definately got our monies worth.

Baby sleeps well

My son has slept incredibly well for his age--even starting when he was probably just 2 weeks old. This is what he has slept in since he was born. He's not even 7 weeks yet and he has lately been sleeping 8-9 hours at night without waking! He sleeps very poorly in his crib when I try putting him down for naps during the day. We couldn't live without this. The portability is amazing because we can easily bring this along to both grandparents' homes and he can sleep in it there too. I knocked off one star only for two minor reasons: 1) I can foresee transitioning him to his crib to be a pain in the future since he loves this SO much--but I haven't done it yet, so I could be wrong! I'm going to wait a bit longer when he's a little more physically matured, and 2) This rocker does have potential to create a flat head, but don't let that scare you. I started to notice at about 6 weeks that my son was developing a flat spot (not terrible). However, that doesn't mean I don't recommend this seat because ANY baby furniture (even cribs!) cause flat spots. It's incredibly common in babies since we are enforced to lay our babies on their backs to sleep. This is likely more of a problem though with this rocker because the babies sleep so good, resulting in more time for a certain spot on their head to have more "pressure." So when you start using this, try to switch the direction of your baby's head every night or frequently so this doesn't really happen. My son had a strong liking for his head to lay one direction, so yeah. Again, flat spots are so common and they DO usually round out when the baby can support its own head and sit or roll over. I did some research about my son's minor flat head (which has slightly improved already after changing his head position) and read about the Boppy Noggin Nest, which I FULLY intend to buy--heck, I think it'd be worth it even without this rocker. Apparently it's really great. You simply place it underneath the fabric so it's not a hazard, and the problem is solved from the start. I'm still not mad about this rocker though because I feel it is my own fault I wasn't more cautious to change his head position, do head/neck exercises and do more tummy time. Tummy time is very helpful, but I think like many babies, my son hates it. Being a first time mom with no experience with babies is a challenge! This is a great product though, so do yourself a favor and help your little one sleep more (and yourself)!

I love this 'bed'! My son is three weeks old and has slept in it since day one. It's very light and so easy to carry room to room. I have to be able to see my baby at night and this fits nicely against my bed so it can even be used as a cosleeper while the baby is in their own bed. He loves to be sit up and this rocker allows him to sit up and look around without having to be held. My son gets great sleep in this rocker. I would recomend buying this bed because it can be used for so many things.

I received this as a gift. LOVE IT!! The rocker is great for new babies because of the inclined position and it is so cozy. Our baby girl loves it for naps during the day and also sleeps in it at night. So far, she prefers this sleeper rather than her crib. Give it a try. You will not be sorry. :)

My daughter is 3 months old and has been sleeping in this at night since we brought her home from the hospital. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the back of her head looked flat. I then noticed that the angle of the sleeper was causing this. We will be going to the doctor tomorrow to see if any physical therapy is needed. I am sick about this!!!!!! And I am so furious at these people who keep saying "oh they must leave their child in it all day". I am a stay at home mom of two. I spend every moment with my children when they are awake. She has only been in this sleeper a few instances during the day and only for a few minutes at a time. She does not nap during the day unless we are running errands. Which is one day a week. She is NEVER left in her car seat. During the day I am either holding her, have her in the bumbo on the floor while I fold clothes, pick up toys, play with her older brother, I put her in the baby bjorn carrier or we are having tummy time. She does sleep all night. Usually she sleeps for 11 hours straight. The description for the sleeper is below and comes straight from fisher price
"With the Fisher-Price Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper you can soothe, sleep or play night or day. This versatile piece is a nighttime sleeper and playtime seat all in one with a rocker bottom and washable insert for comfort and support. It has an inclined seat, which makes sleeping more comfortable for babies who need their head elevated. Other features include three-point restraint to keep baby secure, a toy bunny for soothing and entertaining and handy pocket for convenient storage. The lightweight design is easy to move around the house or fold flat for transportation and storage.Use from birth until child is able to pull up or sit unassisted."
Now according to this a baby should be able to sleep in it all night....which exactly what we allowed her to do. Fisher Price will be getting an email from me. I absolutley loved this product at first...now I despise it and will tell everyone I know not to use it. If a baby should only stay in it for a short amount of time then that is how it should be advertised.

After my nephew spent a week in the NICU, he was extremely confused with his days and nights. Compile that with lack of sleep by mommy, daddy, and auntie and we were searching high and low for solutions. Upon the recommendation of a friend who had a three month old at the time, she highly recommended the Fisher-Price Newborn Rock'n Play Sleeper! Her three month old thanks to the Rock'n Sleeper was actually sleeping through the night!! Needless to say upon Grandpa's arrival to help, he was rushed off to Walmart to buy one. My brother and sister-in-law take it with them everywhere, use it throughout the house, beside their bed at night, and little Oliver is a happy sleeper! Needless to say the $50+ price tag is WELL WORTH IT!! Can you really put a price on your sleep? Plus it is so easy to transport, it is far better at this age vs the pack'n'play, since he really needs to sleep on his back, and isn't at an age to roll over, crawl, etc. Put this on your baby shower wish list, and if you don't get gifted one, go buy one for your sanity!

I havent owned it for long but it was easy to set up, easy to move around, and doesnt take up a lot of space. Great option instead of a bulky bassinet
