These trays cannot be filled and stacked. When trying to stack the top tray will fall inside the bottom tray.

If you turn them end-for-end, they stack for making ice cubes ... if you turn them all facing the same way, they nest for storage.
To put it another way, note that one end has a "+" and the other one has a "-" ... if you stack them +/-/+/-/+/-, they stack ... if you stack them with all the "+" on the same end, they nest.
