I bought this after having bought a cheaper version. The cheaper version is good but this one........... It has something under it that keeps if from slidding. Is made of a soft material and has a pad on the inside that can be taken out and easy to clean. My little dog has learned she can sleep on top of it....... when the top is pushed down it becomes a small bed. She loves it. It cost more but well worth it. Shipping was kind of slow but worth the wait.
