This was exactly what I was looking for, arrived quickly, and was fairly cost effective considering the alternative (getting my couches professional cleaned when my dog has an accident)! I haven't really had the chance to test out just HOW waterproof the blanket is, but it seems pretty durable. I would recommend this.

The plastic is supple the color is nice and yes it stops urine. I bought this one and another one by K&H Manufacturing All Purpose Pet Throw. I will not buy another by k&h. I would buy more of the Everest. The only problem is why don't they sell one big enough to cover a whole bed or couch. I wish there were bigger sizes, hey Walmart are you listening? How about one that will cover a king sized bed?
