I wasn't eager to watch as friend described some adult content but was glad I finally did! I loved this series and was disappointed that it ended after two seasons. Well done recreating Roman period and optional captioning fills in historical facts that only add to the story of two Roman soldiers, Julius Caesar, Marc Antony and what a surprise Cleopatra was. Must watch!

It was well done and enjoyable. It gives you a taste of how life probably was in Historical Times. I purchased it during the Holiday Season so the value was exceptional. I also bought ROME Season Two and enjoyed it as well.
