Purchased this TV for our basement that we recently finished. Was concerned because I had never purchased a Vizio before and despite all the good reviews, had read some that had problems with the TV powering off. I have had no issues since we installed the TV and it has been on all the time. The picture quality is AMAZING, the sound is average but I purchased a Vizio sound bar to go along with the TV, so that helps. I highly recommend this TV. It was a touch higher than I wanted (the 60" was $500 cheaper -- there shouldn't be a $500 hit for an extra 5"). Nevertheless, I love it.

I bought this TV and returned it due to the TV not responding to the remote control. The remote worked fine on another Vizio. The second unit had a line running down the center of the screen. This thing is heavy and awkward, so returning it isn't that easy. After the second one, I wrote off Vizio because of poor quality control. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I won't give the brand another chance. I went with an LG instead.

It all comes down to getting the most for your money...... The price was right ... so far the set has worked perfect.... set-up was very easy.....picture is great.......only complaint is that the power cord is is on the right side and the connections on the left side.

For some reason, I hesitated to buy a 65" Vizio even though I have a 26" Vizio razor that is excellent. (Perhaps I wanted my new big TV in the family room to say Sony or Samsung). I read all the consumer reviews on the 65" Vizio and they were very positive over all. Even the professional reviews had good things to say. In the store, the big Vizios looked as good as any other TV that size and the price was amazingly good. I finally bought it and have concluded that it really couldn't get any better than this. If there is a TV that has a better picture or sound, it couldn't possibly be that much better to justify paying any extra money. I took a few days to hook it up to my Bose sound system and found out that the speakers that come with it are very good for TV speakers. The Bose hooked up beautifully. The only Apps I have tried so far is Net Flix and youtube and they were simple to use. I have no regrets with this purchase.

We had a Mitsubishi 73" DLP. After about 20 months it went out, we replaced a the bulb for $130, and the tech said that the color wheel was bad as well. Would have to buy the whole light engine. Can't just buy a color wheel. He said that would cost over $1000 with labor. So we bought the 65" Vizio LED and the picture on the Vizio LED is so much better than the one on the DLP! Would really be unfair to compare them. We are very pleased with the picture and the other features on the Vizio. When we ever have to replace another TV, there won't be any doubt as to which brand we purchase. Funny that when we were looking the guy said if you watch a lot of movies, DLP was the way to go? LED is what you want to watch movies! The picture is so clear and crisp! We did buy the 3 yr protection plan on this one, just cause I was a little gun shy. Plus we bought the Vizio sound bar with sub woofer as well, would recommend that as well, sound quality is excellent!!

was a great buy love my new tv. is everything it said. i have a 48 in visio and it has a better picture but for the money this is a great buy. put it in the family room and we now have movie night. easy to set up and tune in. you will need a strong freind to much for one person. i base seems a little light duty for the size of the tv. i can not wait for football to start!!!

first off Vizio = quality + 4 year warranty for under 200 its almost stealing! lol I couldn't be more satisfied Im upgrading from a 52" LCD samsung 120hrtz ( another amazing tv aswell ) along with my ps3 bluray player or playing gears or COD this tv is perfection Thank you vizio and WALMART! amazing

If you plan on buying it for "easy" internet connection- DON'T!!!! It'll let you watch Netflix for a little while then when you try to watch another movie or tv episode the whole TV will SHUT DOWN. It will start up and turn it's self off 5 or 6 times every single time you try to go to the next show. I contacted customer service and after resetting my TV to fatory setting and resetting my router twice the less than helpful people at Vizio said that there's nothing they can do to help because it's the yahoo platform that the TV is based on and one day there maybe and update to fix it or not. I was better off with my Panasonic TV and using my Nintendo Wii to get Netflix. I will never purchase another Vizio product again.
Also it takes about an hour setting the TV up and another hour to get the picture quality to not be as fuzzy as the TV my parents had back in the 70's.

This TV is a great buy, the only thing that is just a little bother some is the sound because the speakers are on the back of the TV. I am use to the speakers being on the front, it makes it a little harder to hear but it is still worth it. You won't be disappointed with this TV.

The 65" vizio had red lines across the bottom of the third of the screen right out of the box. But there was no problem. Walmart took the bad one and gave me a new one with no problem. This second Vizio is GREAT! Great picture, wonderful price, and easy set-up. I am so pleased and very very pleased with Walmart's response. Walmart could not have done better.

It seems my expectations got me in more disappointment than i want or need. I've had my Tv For 4 or five days & it seems every time I turn the TV on, the pict gets better than the last time i turned it on. So I simply think i'm getting more aquainted with the TV and my expectations are less demanding. So yeah its got a very nice pict now that i'm getting used to it. Would reccomend to anyone. I'm Still messing with the pict controls to get an optimal pict &Vizio, i think, should've provided a set of starting numbers. Its very hard if ur doin' it urself as opposed to paying a pro to do it for ya. I figure i'll dial it in soon enough.
