Researched all the reputable websites and found "best 32 inch TV for the price" quoted multiple times. I purchased it online, set it up quickly, and love it! While researching I had found a CNET article with setting suggestions. I did make those setting changes (which was easy) and am thrilled with the results. The picture is amazing and the sound is great!

Big black line down center of screen

I purchased this Samsung TV 18 months ago. Picture and sound has always been great until yesterday, when a big black line appeared down the center of the screen. Was disappointed it only lasted 18 months. When I purchased it, most reviews were favorable, so maybe I just got a bad one. The good thing (I think) is I purchased the 2 year Product Replacement Plan. So when I called the number on the card to get a replacement, I was told that despite being touted as a Replacement Plan, they don't REPLACE with a new one, but REPAIR the old one. I have to ship it to be repaired and it will be gone for about 2 weeks. (Guess I'm going to catch up on my reading). Pretty disappointed in the TV and Walmart's Product Replacement Plan too.

I bought it to replace my 8 year old 23" which died. The price was very reasonable and in a side by side comparison with a 1080p of the same size I couldn't see a $70 difference. A plus I hadn't even considered is that it is much more energy efficient and throws off less heat than my old 23" set. I don't know how Samsung did it, but I like it.

I absolutely love this TV. It was surprisingly light when I picked the box up. The sound and picture are great and I love the remote. The only downside is that the stand base isn't as sturdy as I'd like. It wobbles slightly and feels very weak. Even when I was screwing together the stand to the TV, it didn't feel too sturdy even though I tightened it was much as possible. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with this TV so far.

I am very particular when it comes to quality in the product for the value. I wanted a TV with superb visual quality and good features. I was very pleased! Better visual quality and way more features than my $600 46in Hisense I bought last year. I was also interest in buying 32in Vizio but figured Samsung has more reliable parts and would last longer. Great buy, worth it! Honestly best visuals Iv ever seen on TV to date. My xbox360 games look amazing on it!

This is the 3rd Samsung TV in our family. As a Photo Associate, I do sell TVs at Wal-Mart. We own a 40", a 46", and now the 32". All have been excellent for us. One of the big complaints I hear is the new flat screen TVs do not have enough volume due to speaker placement, the Samsungs that I have experienced are provided with more than enough volume adjustment for me. I have damaged hearing and if I can hear it at a reasonable volume level, almost anyone should have no trouble hearing at elevated volume levels.

I seen this TV on display at Wal Mart. I liked the picture, very clear, and this was especially true if you reviewed them at a distance. I am a Tobisha fan, but could not find one with the size I wanted, and after looking at a other TV's, for what this TV has to offer me, it was a easy decision. I would definitely buy another Samsung.....

great tv with great color and picture but my only negative would be the sound ??? while none of the new tvs have good sound like the old tvs had because they are just too light weight to have good sound to them. i wish samsung had used better speakers for this tv but this one is still good compared to the others i've heard its just not what i would call great.
if you are buying your first tv then you wont notice the reduced quality of the newer tvs but thats why they are priced so cheap. if you want great speakers and volume that carries accross the living room then stick to the $500 and up price range but if you want a tv for the bedroom this one is a great buy and right now they have it on sale in the stores for $278

I loved the price, it fits the area I needed it to go, picture color and ease of use. But... the sound is muffled and tinny, so I bought nice external speakers for it until I found there is no hook up to external speakers! That makes for yucky sound quality. They should have at least have connections for adding more speakers, I would have given it 5 stars.

This TV was purchased for bedroom and it's a great size and sound quality is great. The settings for sound can be changed to the tone you like which is what we did. It's an easy set up and with DirecTV worked seamlessly to get everything working. Not difficult at all to set remote etc. Would recommend for anyone looking for a TV. Samsung is rated the best for a reason.

If you plan to have more than one input this is not the TV for you. In order to switch inputs you have 2 choices. 1 use the remote and go through a process or navigation through the settings to select the port you want to change to example HDMI port 2 you might have say a bluray or DVD attached too. Choice number 2 get up and walk to the TV and use what I describe as the joystick on off button and push it on angles to select your choice...I would be doubt using this method would make for a good option as if that part doesn't last you just broke your on off switch. Not to mention the idea of it breaking in a fashion that only allows your last choice...I returned mine. Good luck if you go with it. Other things noteworthy is that it is thicker over 4 inches in width and they call it ultra slim. ???? Moo! I say.
