When I first bought this thing I paid 49 bucks plus tax in the store here in montgomery,al and at first the product was working great,I had no complaints So I tossed away the box,and the receipt, well after having this product for about 2 weeks and using it everyday,it just quit working,I stepped on it,and both pedals Just went straight down to the floor and did not raise back up agin,at first when I first Bought it,both pedals would drop but raise back up,but not anymore, and this thing did not come with instructions or a instructional cd or anything...thoughtit was cool Because it came already assembled and was working fine just didn't come with the bands that u see in the picture...I wish I knew how to make the pedals start back dropping and raising back up agin, but it appears like that's...and for the price I paid All I got was two weeks worth of workout....wow

First one broke
Posted 03/05/2013
Your pedals won't go back up because it broke. If you look underneath, you'll probably see that the part holding the wheel is broken. Same thing happened to me.. I was working out, and all of a sudden both pedals went flat and wouldn't alternate like before. When I looked underneath, I noticed the breakage. I returned it and got another one because quite frankly, I've lost almost 30 lbs in 3 months using it for an hour 5-6 days a week. I started off just doing a half hour, lost about 13 lbs, and upped it to an hour. Currently purchasing an Ab Carver to add to my routine. If it wasn't for the fact that the product broke after just 2 months of regular use, I'd give it a 5 star rating. It works if you use it.. unfortunately it breaks easily. My 2nd one hasn't broken yet, but I've only had it for like a month.
Background: I got this to get some cardio in during the winter because I absolutely hate venturing out in the cold. I own an automatic treadmill as well, but I haven't used it much since I've moved into my current apartment. I live on the second floor in an older style home so the floors creak a lot. My downstairs neighbor is retired so he's not out much. Basically I bought this item to work out indoors silently without bothering my neighbor.
My major gripe with this stepper is that there's no cushioning of any sort to absorb the shock when the pedal gets pushed all the way down. So if I was the downstairs neighbor, I'd be wondering why my upstairs neighbor is knocking on the floor all the time. Since the noise is due to the point of contact between the stepper and the floor, even using it on a carpeted surface doesn't help much, because the "thump thump" from impact still travels down to my neighbor's. And the minor gripe: the mechanism works by having a tension rope type of thing on a wheel which rotates between the steps - which is squeaky enough to be annoying to me but probably not my neighbor. The squeaking didnt help with WD40 for me.
Other than the noise issue for me, I do like the stepper. Price is okay. It does what it says it does. I opted not to attach the resistant tubes so I can't comment on that. Displays are working well (but I've only had this for 2 weeks). It's portable which is great - I've even used it while brushing my teeth or doing my dishes. My shipment arrived in perfect condition. The weight capacity for this stepper is 250lbs in case anyone is curious. It offers decent resistance to serve my purpose (maintaining). I would recommend this for those beginning to exercise or those that are just maintaining, but not necessarily for those that are looking to replace their cardio routine exclusively with this equipment.

Not worth the price. Even with the discount it had going on it. I can say it does give a nice little work out if your stepping fast while using the hand grips. But the step is not very deep at all. Only a few inches and then you sort of clip the bottom bar and start denting the back of the step. I have to say my kids use it more as a toy than anything. If I had the chance, I would have went with a full machine vs this.

The electronic meter quick working after using this product only 5 times. Stamina Products offered to send me a new sensor wire to replace the defective one or return the product to the store. I did not feel like i should have to work on wiring on something I'd had 5 days so I said no thanks. Now i have the hassle of boxing it back up and returning it to the local WalMart and getting my credit card credited back and then deciding if I want to take a chance on another and then getting on the website and ordering a new one and waiting on the shipping of site to store because our store here does not carry these. Can't recommend Stamina Products real highly right now...

The electronic display was not working when received. I called company and they talked me thru fix. It turned out to be a dead battery. They sent me a replacement with battery included. Arrived in 2 days. Support was wonderful. It seems sturdy and is small enough to keep handy in family room for easy access.

If you know how to use it, you can work on it three times a week and loose wait. I lost 10 pounds on it and I got my legs lean.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter, because the new gym nearby still hadn't opened up for business. We've been using this for about a month, and let me tell you, it's pretty fantastic.
You feel it in your legs immediately and it does give you a workout! It's compact so we can move in the living room, bedroom, wherever we feel like working out. I think that this is a wonderful way for a beginner to build up their legs and workout the lower body - and the price was right.
The only one small issue was that I was missing the handle things that you pull to work the arms. But that's okay, I got some small hand weights and it works out just fine.
It came out of the box assembled, so that made me even happier :)

I picked this up and set it back down on several trips to walmart. Finally ran back in and got it one day and could not be more happy with it.
The first plus..I pulled it out of the box..snapped on the straps and was on it within a matter of minutes.
Was skeptical that such a little machine could really do anything ...about 10 minutes on it I was a ball of sweat. I walk 3 - 4 miles 5 days a week...work out with Jillian (the beast) Michaels 30 day shred etc..and THIS LITTLE machine works up more of a sweat than any of that. I also haven't really used the straps but use hand weights while I'm on the stepper.
I am THRILLED that I finally gave in and got it. The midwest winters really make for not wanting to go out and chance falling on ice trying to walk and driving to the gym..yeah probably not. I've got a total workout system right here for around $50.

I got this for a workout to do at work when I am on the phone, and it is a good interim especially if I did not work out that day! It is a great booty workout and oblique abdominal workout as long as you contract your muscles in the right/correct way!! :)

It didn't count steps when I bought it, but I emailed the company and the sent me a new meter. It was very easy to change, but it still wouldn't work. So, I emailed them back and they sent me a new wire. It was also easy to replace. Now, it works like a charm. I am very happy with my purchase.

Another walmart fail.......

Walmart replaced another stepper with this one and so far I am not exactly pleased with this one. It arrived quickly, is sturdy and functional but the display did not work from day one of its use, how am I to know how long I have been on, or how many calories I have burned??? I use this stepper 3 times per week, sometimes more, and it does give you a good workout, but again, not being able to log calories burned is the dealbreaker, another item to return and add to my "walmart do not recommend list:...It is only worth 20.00 in my opinion. Not 50.00.

I have only had the product for a short while and there are some problems. I'm under the wieght compacity, but the twist and step keeps making noise like its about to give out. Also the reader wont come off of "stop" so i cant tell how many calories I have burned or how long I've worked out. I do not know how long it will last and therefore wouldn't recommend it.

Have to say I was skeptical about this machine. But, after using it now for 3 weeks 1 or 2 days of cardio on this machine; I have seen results. You definitely sweat on this machine after 15 mins or less; overall I do 60 mins on the machine. I mainly bought this machine to lose some extra pounds and to get more cardio in my routine. I do yoga as well 3 times a week.
The machine is holding up fine. I am 5'2 and about 125 pd. I am not sure how it would hold up on a person who is taller or heavier. But, I definitely think it is worth the purchase. It's definitely made well and not cheap looking in any manner.

I probably would not have bought this, but I found it (or it found me) on the Clearance aisle. Woot! Woot! - got it for $10!!! My husband and I are both using it. We like the ease of motion and the burn we feel in our legs after a fairly short workout.

I got my stepper in about 2 days after I ordered. Opened the box and placed it in front of the TV. I usually walk 45 minutes every morning but sometimes i don't go and that's when this baby comes in. Play a good movie and step on your machine and gently start stepping....you'll be amazed how fast the counter starts going soon is 200 steps, ten 400 and now I've done 1200 and sweating. Very sturdy and small footprint. Very happy with it.
