This is was a waste of time, Thank God not a waste of money, walmart did except this return. This hula hoop would not stay up and It was very akwad, The answer to your question is yes i did know what i was doing. LOL. the reason i bruoght it in the first place was because i enjoyed using one so much @ curves. however this is NOT a curves quality weighted hula hoop. don't waste your time!

First of all, I'd like to say that the ordering and pick up of this product was fantastically easy.
The first thing I liked about this was that I got to put it together so it reminded me of the joy of building a lego set as a child. But the best part is all the bruises. 3lbs may seem like nothing but when you bash this bad puppie against your hips and inevitably, against your shins when you drop it down from the pain. Also, make sure no children or small animals are around you, I'm pretty sure I knocked my ferret unconscious. But once you master the massive weight and sheer gravitational force that this death ring produces, you're going to get one great workout. 10/10 would buy again.

The hoop is made very well. The problem I had was, it gave me bruises on my hip. Bigger than I thought it would be. I ended up buying a regular hula hoop. Works great!

I am in really poor shape and my stomach muscles are not that strong. So, it is difficult for me to use. However, if you were in good shape and had good stomach muscles this is an excellent work out. Just wanted to put it out there that if you do buy it start with a regular hoola first to build up your endurance. It is a fun way to work out but it hurts my tummy. That is only because I am out of shape. If you are out of shape like me, then realize it won't be too comfy at first. I recommend you buy this and a regular hoola and start with the regular one and build up to this one.

This exercise hoop is excellent for exercising and I am not a young woman!! I grew up playing hula-hoop and so enjoy this but it has to be taken slow and I learned not to do it too close to bedtime!!

This was easy to put together and has NOT come apart a single time even though I was pretty rough on it, trying to get the hang of hula-hooping again, after so many years! This is a great product and I highly recommend it! A fun way to exercise and get yourself moving!

I purchased this item last year - after using it several times the plastic fell apart. I returned the item and the company sent me a new one - AGAIN the plastic fell apart at a number of joints. I have taken it apart, glued and duct taped and it breaks at the next joint. I would never purchase this item again

I know why you lose weight with this - because the pain from your ribs keeps you from swallowing! Did not even measure up to what I thought I was getting - and I have yet to master it. Next time I will use a regular hula hoop and be done!

This hula hoop is great as a belly fat workout. My daughter has used this at a workout facility for 3 months and had phenomenal results, that's why I wanted to get one for her to use at home. If you haven't used a weighted hula hoop before, it is quite heavy at first feel, but that is just what helps with the slimming down. As far as the value for the money, I found it at the best price here at Walmart. I looked at other stores and found it was $10 more for the exact same product.

This hula hoop takes me back to childhood, and why when you exercised you didn't realize it because it was so much fun! It snapped together easily and has stayed together. Because of the weights, it's much easier to keep twirling. I use it daily at least once or twice per day. It will make your waist sore at first, but I think of it as whittling inches away!
