For Danskin brand name I expected them to last more than two weeks. Wide width worked fine. Soles falling off. Inner soles not giving support.

I love the look, fit & price of these shoes. However, the bottoms start to crack in about 9 months to a year. But, at these prices you can afford to replace them in less than a year. I will keep buying them for the comfort and wish Danskin would remedy the problem.

Bought my first pair of these & the sole cracked in half within about 3 weeks. I figured it was because I wore them often and chances were likely it was a flawed pair. Bought another pair...took less than 2 weeks for it to happen again. By the time I paid for two pair of these shoes, I could have bought a brand name pair on Amazon.com. Steer clear & spend your money on something that will last.

I bought these shoes for work where I walk an average of 5 to 7 hours 4 days a week. After 3 months of use I have had to glue the outer sole back together where the rubber split to keep water from coming in and now the outer faux leather upper is splitting from the sole. This purchase was definitely a mistake as far as durability goes.

I bought a pair of these for the gym and thought they were fine - until after I checked my other pairs. Comfortable, can't beat the price, and they look nice. I purchased 2 more pairs for the walking I planned to do outside over the summer. One day I was working in my garden and noticed that my feet were soaking wet. I took off my sneakers and the sole was cracked on both of them all the way across where my foot bent. I checked my other 2 pairs (including the ones I originally bought for the gym) and found the same thing.
I guess you get what you pay for. But I won't ever buy these sneakers again. I thought the Danskin brand was a good quality, but I thought wrong.

I bought these at Walmart almost a year back because I needed them for a science lab. I have wide feet so these don't work well with wide feet, but I am glad they have yet to fall apart. The only issue I have is that they do almost nothing to prevent my feet from hurting or back from hurting while I am working.
I bought 2 insoles and wear them both at the same time in this shoe, and even then my feet feel like they are going to rip by the end of the day. So not a great show for retail work, or general long-term walking or standing.
They look nice though. I guess that's a plus.

Bought a pair of shoes from Wal-Mart about a month ago. Very disappointed in them. Within 2 weeks of having them, the seam on the side split open. Within 3 weeks of having them, anytime it is wet outside, my feet get wet and stay wet all day because of the cracks in the bottom. Have no choice but to wear them for the next 2 months cause I can't afford to buy another pair within a month of each other. So thank you for the wet feet and NO, I will NEVER buy this brand again.

I really hate shoes that only last 6 mos. These didn't even last 6 weeks. First, the insole tore up then the tops started to come apart at the seams. Then came the soles separating from the uppers and the inevitalble cracks across the soles that everyone else is complaining about. It's truely a shame because for the first two weeks these were very comfortable. I, too, thought Danskin was better than that. Oh well, on to the next brand! I won't be buying any more Danceskins.

Not a bad shoe for the price. Comfortable. I am around oil, gease, water, soap and mud so shoes don't stay looking new and clean very long. These shoes are inexpensive, fit well and when get stained they are not costly to throw away.
