A nice addition if you communicate with people who don't or won't use a mic on xbox live, or use your live account to commnicate with computer users on MSN messenger. Nicer than using the on screen keyboard or a wired USB keyboard with a cord that is about 3 or 4 feet long. Can't be used with the original headset, as it doesn't have the same slots next to the headphone jack that the controller has. Other than that, a nice addition.

This is very small and looks really cool. when you dont want to use it there is no need to take it off because you will not even notice it because it doesnt get in the way and is very light.

Great for games that require a lot of text input. I use it a lot with Windows Live Messenger. You have to text rather slowly though. If you go too fast, the letters have tend to not show up. It's a bit difficult to get on and off, but once it's on it adds a bit of weight but not in the way at all.

This is a very handy item if you text a lot or have games that require a lot of text input. While it does add a little bit of weight to the controller, overall controller use is not hindered (even though people with longer fingers may not be able to wrap them all the way around the controller like before). Another downside is that it only comes in white, so people, such as myself, that have an XBOX 360 Elite will not have a color match. The only other bad thing I can say is that it is not easy to take on and off, which actually is a good thing because you know that is on securely. One of my favorite things is that the keys are backlit, so if you like to play in the dark, you are still able to see what you're typing. All things considered, it is still a very good idea and I would recommend it to any XBOX 360 owner.
