I chose this video monitor for my baby registry because it was well-rated, it had all the features I was looking for and it was priced below most other models. My baby is now 8 weeks old and I'm totally pleased with this monitor! The sound and picture quality are great, and there is rarely any interference. I also like that the monitor has a little handle on the top, is small and very light weight so I can carry it to other rooms as needed. What a great product and a great value for the price!

we registered for another summer monitor but didnt get it and ended up buying this one ourselves. it is definately neat being able to see our baby and hear her too. we have two cats and were worried about them getting in the crib--they havent but if they do--we can see them. you can just use the sound without the screen which is nice too. the sound lights are an added touch. we are definately pleased with this product and would reccommend it to anyone.

Video Monitor - A Few Flaws,

This product has proven to be very helpful for us. We have a large farm house and it allows us to be downstairs, yet still see what our son is doing in his room upstairs. It gets fuzzy when our cordless phone rings. Also, the volume on ours is terribly touchy. It seems like the volume levels are loud and louder. Other than that it has been a very good product. Both parts have been pulled down by the cord onto the floor by one of our children and it still works, so it really is quite durable. Hope this helps!

Love the product!!! It's great to be able to see the baby, instead of just listening to the sound. Picture quality is great. However, it only lasts for a week. The screen all of the sudden gets very fussy. Called walmart.com but it's out of stock. Now I'll have to return it and find it else where.

We purchased this monitor to keep an eye on our disabled son, and so far it has worked great. We like the ability to take the monitor into other rooms so that we can keep a check on him whether he's sleeping during the day or at night. The night vision works great, and it is perfectly clear day or night. It does get a little static from people using the wireless internet (we live in an apartment building) but all we have to do is move the monitor a little and it always clears up. Good value for the money. We couldn't sleep without it!

I returned this item the very next day when we went to town. I was so excited about the product until I got it out. It is a mini TV. About 8lbs. Can't carry around. Useless, unless you strictly want it beside your bed.
I went ahead and purchased another summer product. It is a new item and costed $229.00 This one you can carry around and is battery operated. Unlike the first item we orderd. So if you don't mind leaving the mini tv plugged in and never taking it to another room that's fine. But for the money you might as well buy the one you can carry around with a 2 1/2 inch color screen. Plus with the newer one I purchased you can pan the room and zoom in on the baby.
There was nothing wrong with this item we never even hooked it up. It is just not very useful for a parent to use during the day if you have things to do around the house. You can NOT carry this item around and it is not battery operated. So think twice about this... As I said we purchased another summer product that is much more useful day and night and is portable unlike the "mini tv". Hope this helps other parents.

SHE SWEARS BY IT AND IF IT KEEPS HER QUIET--IT IS GREAT!! This thing is an absolute must have if you have children. I haven't had my baby yet but I have been using it with my older kids to watch them in the playroom. And my daughter is very stubborn at nap time so I use it to watch her and the night vision is even great. I HIGHLY recommend this!!!

The picture is clear in night or day conditions. The sound is clean and loud. I was concerned about the size of the monitor compared to the more portable devices but the monitor is light and the size has not been a problem for our use. We tried many different scenarios to 'break' the connection between the camera and monitor but it always provided a clear picture and sound. The distance from the camera to the monitor is about 40 feet with a few walls in the way. This is a very good video monitor and the price makes it better.

Love this product. After having a crib and toddler bed in our room, my husband and I decided it was time to move the girls to there own room. I bought this for my wife for Christmas. We have a special need daughter that requires constant attention. We had a baby monitor but my wife wasn't confortable with just listening to the sound. I wasn't sure if I "needed" a video monitor, but this bad boy is going to put my fears to rest! I live in a 3 story home, and I am able to get perfect picture with no interference. I have all the lights off so it is pitch black and I can still see everything perfectly. Also, it is so sensitive to sound, that it is picking up sounds from my husband downstairs! I love it!

I bought this for my mum, who is late stage Alzheimers. We set it up and now we no longer have to worry if she is awake and unattended in her room. The night vision is excellent and the sound quality is great. Super easy to setup. This is an awesome product and well worth the money. I can even take the monitor next door to my house and watch her while she sleeps! GREAT.

Put my son in his room for the first time, and it was awesome that I could see him, without having to worry about every little noise. Night time vision is great, the only interference we get is when the phone rings... but otherwise we have had no problems... would recommend this to anyone.
