Yes, they are 10 dollar ear-buds, headphones, whatever you want to call them. But this will be one of the best 10 dollars you have ever spent. I purchased other brands that were supposed to be "sweat resistant" and "made for exercise" but these were not labeled or advertised as such. However, my set of Skullcandy's seemed to be lacking a bit in the bass for what I wanted while running. Disappointed, I found these philips on the shelf at walmart.
Lets fast forward a year now. over 300 miles on running, hours upon hours lifting, cycling, road trips, you name it- these outperform anything i've ever bought, for even a FRACTION of the cost. These things ran a half marathon without getting the slightest bit uncomfortable or slipping.
As far as sweat resistant- let me just say this- I am very wary of bluetooth headsets because they often short out if they are not "sweat resistant." These philips are not the case. They are rugged, and can handle every drop of sweat by body poured out. As I am writing this, I literally just pulled these headphones out of the washing machine by accident, thinking they were ruined. Plugged them into my mp3 player, and they are cranking as hard and as clear as day one. That made me drop what I was doing to come here and write this.
So, for the person who is in the electronics isle of wal-mart, looking up reviews on headphones via their mobile web--- put the phone down and pick these up. These are the best corded headphones at a VERY reasonable price on the market. You will not be disappointed.

Almost never write reviews, but I can't remember the last time I was so happy about a $10 or so purchase. I always hate earbuds because I can't even get them to stay in when I'm sitting at my desk, let alone when I'm cycling (which is when I normally listen to music). Haven't had any problems with these, and the cord is the perfect length -- long enough to give me some slack but not so long that it's too easy for it to get tangled. As for the sound, sure you won't get Bose quality sound if you're listening to a symphony, but I don't think anyone thinks that's the point of these. For the pricepoint, they deliver the best sound one could expect, and they actually exceeded my expectations.
Definitely recommend.

I got this to replace my old one's, which I broke by pulling them while connected to my laptop. Luckily, no damage to my laptop. Thankfully, these were easy to purchase online via Walmart.com.
The only issue I had is that it wasn't in the one that was as close to my home as I would have liked to have gone and picked it up. I had to take the Highway to get just a little bit more south to the right Walmart. Not that the travel was a problem, its just that gas, and well, Floridian drivers, some people care to drive well, and others don't care either way.
There would have been a cost to have it sent to the one closer to my house, which I was sure that I chose that option, but come time for the sale confirmation after okay'ing my information to be sent and what not, it still showed the second Walmart location. Why this happened, I have no idea. It wasn't that far from the Highway, so it wasn't a big deal, but it is still something to make a note of on the Walmart.com web site. Even if you select a different location, but the product is offered at another location, the system just may ignore your pick up order for the item to be sent to one location, and have you go pick up the item in question at a farther, yet somewhat closer, location. Keep this in mind when doing transactions with Walmart.com. I'm a loyal customer, but this was a worry for me purchasing through their site.
Overall, when I got to the second closest Walmart, it didn't take long for me to get my item. I did have to wait a bit, because the lady who did help me was multitasking prior to me arriving at the store with other ladies who worked there putting some stuff back. I had to sign for the item to verify it is me, and show my driver's license. This was not a problem for me, but I am not sure if this is policy, or the girl just wanted to look at my ID or just do her job. Either way, after this, I bought two other things before I left the store and headed home.
The fit was perfect. I don't like the headphones that loop over the head because they tend to well, not fit like a glove. I also don't like the one's that just go into the ear because they have fallen out in the past when I have used them. So, these type, the ones that loop just over the ear, provide just what I like, and just what I need. Secure, in place, and can hear the audio worry free of the actual device..
In conclusion, I like this product. Sorry for not posting this review sooner. I have been busy and didn't put in the effort to make the time to do this review. I know how these reviews help people out, such as myself, when I go looking for feedback online, so thats why I am at least doing this now.
Hope this review helps someone out. Other than that, happy bargain hunting.
P.S.: I know I must have made a typo hear and there, and if your like me, that kind of ticks you off. For those who are like me, sorry.

I will never use another pair of headphones. I can't tell you how many I've gone through. MOST of them have horrible base and the sound is distant like the ear buds are 6 inches from your ear.
I just bought these for the 2nd time because my last one pooped out after 2 years because I use them almost every other day. I mostly listen to music and watch Movies/TV on my computer. I love the Base, the Surround Sound feel to it, and you could shake your head and they will NEVER fall out of your ear because of the ear clip. There very comfortable AND THERE only $10.00 I would have gladly paid triple for them. I never leave reviews but I was so happy to these on the shelves still and thought I would leave one.

Good earphones...except...most earphones come with a MINIATURE jack attached; this one has a micro-miniature jack.
I had to go to Radio Shack and purchase an adapter, so I could use the plugs! This is absurd.
It doesn't make much sense to get a good deal on the plugs...then, pay MORE for the adapter than I did for the plugs!!!
Hey Phillips, how about making the plugs with a MINIATURE PLUG....you know, the one that almost all other's use.

Pros: They are comfortable and they fit in my ears well.
Cons: 1.) If the cable near the plug bends or twists at all, the earphones go dead -- I have to make sure that the cable sits at just the right angle for these things to work. 2.) The rubber seals around the bud part don't stay on. This is my second set of these headphones, both had these problems and the new set has them after less than two weeks.

I first brought these headphones three years ago. I have not brought any kind since then. I love these headphones. When they break I just go and buy a new pair. They stay in my ears and the sound quality is amazing. I was recently chastised in the library for the loudness of my music. The sound is clear and crisp. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is a music lover like myself. It sounds like the music is being played in front of you. You will not go wrong with these headphones.
