Great point-and-shoot digital for the price,

I've been using this camera for a little over a week and have shot about 200 photos and about 15 minutes of video in that time. It shoots well in all light, is quick to work with a flash (something that's frustrated me with my old Nikon point-and-shoot), comes with software that makes in unbelievably easy to upload photos and videos to youtube, facebook and Kodak Gallery, has a lot of pre-set "scenes" that make it easy to get the right settings so your pictures come out well in all types of light and movement situations, it does particularly well with closeup still-life type photos (especially handy for eBay listings and the like), and the camera comes with a rechargeable battery, similar to a phone battery, that recharges every time you plug your camera into your computer to download pictures -- goodbye AAs! The downsides are that it's an extra couple of steps to get to the scene settings and the video option (so you can't get there super fast to catch a picture that happens in an instant), the sound/maximum volume on the video setting leaves something to be desired, and it doesn't do a particularly great job at fast-action photos on regular settings -- you really need to switch to the proper scene setting, which takes time. Overall, a great camera for the price.

Wonderful!,

I bought this camera a few months ago, and it was absolutely wonderful! I was surprised at how clear the pictures came out. It does have a small problem where on occasions, about once a week, would freeze on start-up, and you'd have to pop out the battery and pop it back in before it would work. I never had any other problem with the camera, except for the occasion freezing when taking a picture in very low light, practically no light; sometimes the camera would freeze for a moment, but the the picture would eventually be taken. I've owned a few cameras, Samsungs, and other Kodaks, and this one was by far my favorite. The video wasn't the best, especially in low light, but over-all, this camera is great!~

great little camera,

This camera has wonderful photo quality. The downfalls are the nightshot and the zooming sound that you can hear during your video recordings. Overall, I love this camera!

Great camera,

I've had this camera a while now and I love it. I've read all the reviews and I must say I disagree with most of the negative ones. One thing I always recommend is that you register your purchase with Kodak at Kodak.com. Occasionally there are firmware or software upgrades to fix a problem that's occurred. Check it out. You'll be fine.
