I don't really have a hairy leg issue but what I do have, I expect my razor to get the first pass. This is not the case here. Several passes and I STILL have stubble. The underarm attachment actually is in the way and scrapes my legs constantly. Regardless if it is in the closed position or not. BOTH sides have that edge. If interferes with the heads getting close enough to do their job. The battery compartment IS NOT accessible to change the batteries when they no longer hold a charge. And the manual shows you NOTHING about how to replace the rechargeable AA batteries. I agree with the "Disposable Elec Razor' theory. Save your $$ and go find a better quality Conair #which I like the brand# for something that does what it's suppose to without maiming you.

This is a great electric shaver. Definetely worth the cost. 1 Flaw would be charge time. You have to charge it for 16 hours for 30 minutes of usage. IT DOES NOT COME CHARGED. So don't expect to use it the day you get it. That can be annoying to some people.

Have used Remington brand in the past, but read other positive comments about this product and decided to try. Purchased primarily to use for quick touch ups and armpits. Unfortunately, I do not find this a comfortable unit to use. Feels like it scrapes the skin and leaves irritated areas on both legs and armpits. I also find I have to go over an area several times to get an acceptable 'clean shaven' look. It works for what I need, but will probably end up purchasing another brand to replace it soon as I now find I skip shaving to avoid the discomfort.

The shaver worked great! I was looking forward to being able to use this product for many years. I was taking good care of it like I was supposed to and cleaning it when the head snapped off. I don't know if I got a defective one or what but I definitely wouldn't buy this again.

I've owned several Lady Remington shavers over the years so when I needed a new one I stuck with my tried and true....BIG MISTAKE. It wouldn't cut the hair. This Conair cuts beautifully.

I like the fact that I can use it in the shower.
The plastic cover that protects the heads would not stay on after removal and the razor is not steady in the holder and can be easily jolted out of the charger.

This product has worked great on my arms and legs. It leaves both very smooth. However, if you buy this product you will need a lot of patience. Each shaving stroke is best to go slow and glide over the skin repeatedly until you don't hear any more hair being cut.
I haven't had the same luck (so far) with my bikini line. I suggest waiting for any razor bumps to heal before using this product on that area...so you may have to go a week without shaving depending on how your body behaves.
I honestly love this product.
