Me and my sister each bought one of these straighteners about a year or so ago. I loved mine, it worked great and the curved plates made it easy to flip my hair out or under and it looked much better than straightening with the flat plates does. The only problem is that after about a year, it just quit working one day, and I was not able to find another one at the store. My sister had never really used hers and gave it to me, and after about a week of using it, it just quit working too. I love this product because it made my hair look good, but I hate that it doesn't hold up any longer than it does. Maybe this is what is to be expected from this price range, I don't know.

Never had one of these. Bought it a few days ago. My hair is thick and shoulder length , wavy but not curly. It does the job on the lower settings beautifully, and takes me no more than 10 minutes to do my whole head.I end up with straight, sleek hair. I used some Garnier leave-in conditioner first, let that dry, and it did the trick. I would buy another one, and it has a 2 year guarantee, plus the usual Walmart 90-day return option. How can you go wrong? Good product, very fair price.

I have had this straightener for about 2 years and it gets the job done; but it gets it done kind of slowly. I have very curly long FRIZZY hair and i use it to straighten it sometimes. It works ok but takes twice as long as a normal straightener. The other bad thing about it is that it doesn't say when it is hot enough; you have to take a guess. I also don't like that it has a "curved" plate. It DOESN'T work on flipping edges! But I guess i got my moneys worth.
