We have a pretty large listening room and this system fills it just fine! I was suprised at the fidelity of the small front and satelite speakers! The powered sub is incredible! Some reviewers have noted a problem with this being a 6 Ohm set...big deal! My receiver is rated 6 to 16 Ohms and is selectable. Buy these before they are gone...they look so much better than the black plastic enclosures, too!

It came in nicely packaged and easy to install. The sound from it is not bad considering I paid very little for it. I bought it to replace the larger, higher priced surround system I had in place so I could use them for my home theatre room and these are doing a fine job in replacing them. other reviews talk about the 6ohm issue. If they wouldn't have said anything I would never had known. i have a larger receiver poweing them and it's doing a fine job for the price.

most people don`t know the differace in electronic equiptment. I consider yamaha speakers middle of the road or better, most recording studio`s have a pair in their control rooms, yamaha equiptment is usually a good value for the average user. I have these speakers connected to my laptop and they sound great. I would recomend them to anyone.

If your not an audiophile, then you will be very happy with this purchase. I replaced a KLH satellite system including sub with this Yamaha system and I couldn't be happier. The sound is far richer than the KLH system and the price is fantastic.

Yamaha did a good job with these little speakers. The subwoofer is a little on the "thin" side, but will satisfy many anyway. They sound good and are inexpensive, which is a good deal all-around!

Item was delivered in two days and set up in about an hour. Everything needed for the setup was included and it was very easy. I hooked these speakers up to a Yamaha AV receiver with my HDTV and the sound is amazing. For bookshelf size speakers, they produce big sound. Surround sound is great as well. You can pay more for other speaker sets if you want, or get these for a bargain and have great sound. I would highly recommend these speakers to anyone.

I just bought these speakers about 3 weeks ago and they sound great with my Sony surround sound receiver. I like the fact that they are small and inconspicuous and still produce a very large sound. Yamaha has always been a great name in stereo equipment and musical instruments and they come through once again with these speakers at a great price.

Bought this at clearence price online for $159 I think.Maybe $149. Store pick-up. Has much better sound than I expected and the walnut finish on the speakers matches furniture nicely. If you are looking for speaker system @ a nice price this is it! Get it before they sell out.

I Bought this Yamaha speaker package a while ago and have enjoyed using it. The smaller speakers have great sound quality but what really impressed me was the BIG bass sound the subwoofer provides...The only 2 downsides are if you have kids make sure to hide the sub or the kids will play with the controls on the front for the unit...the second issue is that you cant turn it up since you will wake the kids up at night, like I said very powerful bass.
