Looks great. I have 15 month old twins and they can easily get to their toys and clean up is easy for me took me about an hour or so to put together totally recommend this !!!

Sturdy, Stubborn, but Satisfied,

This toybox is very nice once assembled - heavy wood (not cheap particle board) and definitely a bold, even black color. Ample space - better than Babies R Us decorative toy boxes for sure.
Hard to assemble but not impossible. Probably requires two people - I did it alone at 7 months preggers and broke a sweat. Frustrating hardware with screws that have to sit inside of nuts or else...
Lid closes nice and slow - not afraid of finger damage later on to the little one or myself.
Husband tightened a couple of screws for me and the wood split/bulged - beware of overtightening.
Wheels are a bonus BUT we can already see that this is not a good "seat" for an adult unless under 140 lbs! Kids can sit comfortably. Wheels cannot be left-off if undesirable - they are necessary for box to balance.

the only toy box i could find in black. nice looking but had a hard time getting the lid to be "square" and close properly. rather pricy for the quality, just hope it holds up for my 1 year old grandson. also glad i didn't have to pay shipping by using ship to store option.

I was a little hesitant about purchasing this product online but it came in quickly, was easy to put together if you followed the directions, was sturdy, and looks like it costs more than it really did. I was very pleased with it.

When I opened the box, I expected to find missing and/or damaged parts, but to my surprise, everything was intact. It took me less than one hour for assembly. I am using the product as a storage bench in the family room; it looks fantastic! KidKraft may call it a toy box, but it looks more like a piece of furniture. It definitely exceeded my expectations!

I have been looking for a nice expensive looking toy chest with out having to spend a bunch of money. Something that my daughter can grow into and this by far is the one.!!!
She is only 18 months so right now my concern was that the door doesn't shut on her fingers which the way the latch is made it doesn't. Plus I wanted to put the chest in my living room where my daughter likes to play and have the chest blend in with my other furniture which it did very nicely it doesn't even look like a toy chest at first glance. I was very happy with this product.

I purchase this product for my mother who is my son's babysitter. The quality and construction of this product is EXCEPTIONAL!!! My mother has a beautiful home so wanted something that would be functional but also be an attractive addition to her decor and this definitely fit the bill. It is very attractive, extremely sturdy and safe. My son who is two is able to open it to get his own toys out and it is very safe with the safety lid feature so it doesn't fall on him or pinch his fingers. He also likes to get up and sit on it like a BIG BOY. I would highly recommend this to anyone and it is a good price compared to others we have looked at. A GREAT PRODUCT!!!

This sturdy, beautiful toybox looks like a "hope chest" or linen chest in disguise. It really is that nice looking! I hope it will wear well and serve as a storage spot for blankets long after my granddaughter is finished with it. It is sturdy enough to sit on. I was a little hesitant to purchase it because of the price, but I can say it is worth it to have something so functional and beautiful at the same time.
