We first bought this item to inflate an air mattress when we travel. It was small but powerful. We now use it on the boat. It is perfect for taking uninflated rafts to the sandbar and blowing them up when we get there. Saves so much space on the boat. We love this powerful and handy little air pump and have already recommended it to our camping friends!

Got this for my little trailer and new blow up bed. Sleeping on the cushion are getting me. Plugged in the charger in the afternoon and that night poof the twin air bed was inflated. Only problem is I inflated it late and pump is kinda loud. But worked great and so did the air mattress bought from Walmart. Funny think is my little chorkie sleeps with me and when I rolled out he kinda rose up on the other side of the bed. Major difference between the cushions to air mattress. I also had it charged to use with my inflatable kayak used at Oleta park. Just don't know and will have to test how long the charge will last. Used originally two weeks ago and still has a charge. been sitting in the hot trailer. I highly recommend this product. Can't beat Coleman.

Product does its job great however the noise level was quite loud.
Holds its charge wonderfully but the unit itself weights just a bit too much for me to pack in my backpack. This would be ideal for car camping and minimal hiking to campsite.

I really liked this pump for the few times I used it, during the 3-4 years that I had it, BUT, when I got it out to pump up a ball, the charger failed to recharge it, even after leaving in plugged in for 24 hours! (I tried a couple of more times, too) I was all set to buy another one, but then saw another person has reported the exact same problem!! I'm going to buy the inexpensive "Coleman" electrical type and see what happens; at least can't lose too much money.....

The battery is sealed, so you'll have to buy another one and recycle the unit! $30 for an airpump isn't costly....they need to just use rechargeable batteries like cameras, etc do. Will not buy this again.

Make sure the little light on the charger is on when charging. We thought we brought a charged pump camping only to find it wouldn't turn on. On further investigation the batter is totally shot.

PS. Don't throw away this pump. Lead-acid batteries like this should be recycled.

It's a bit large for a pump, but works real well. It came already charged even though it said to fully charge it before using and then charge again within 10 hours. How does one know if it was "fully" charged upon purchase? That was my only gripe. I was going camping and would be without electricity so I didn't want to take a chance on it not being fully charged. So I let it run out and then charged it again. Other than that, it did the trick. I was able to blow up my twin air mattress and add more air to it twice, deflate it and blow it up again when I got home.

As always, Coleman makes a good product. This pump inflates a twin size matress very quickly. I usually use it at home and plugged it, but it is rechargable and can go camping.
This is my second Coleman pump like this. Someone borrowed the first one and I never got it back!

Best inflator I've ever used. Only used outside (thus the cordless) so noise not an issue.
Only problem I have is lead-acid battery which needs a bit more care than more modern batteries. Need to store it charged, and charge every few months.
Also, it can only run for 10 minutes after which you have to let it rest for 20. But I haven't hit that yet.

I have purchased 2 of these rechargeable air pumps and BOTH pumps will not recharge. I was only able to use them 2 times each. After letting them charge for 4 days...nothing. They refuse to recharge. Save yourself the money and buy that uses electricity.

This is not the first one that I've owned. I had another one for 4 years that got lost, this is a replacement, and I would not buy another charger, as long as this one is available.
This charger works great. I can charge it before a camping trip, inflate all my beds and other stuff too, and it usually will last 4 to 5 days before I have to recharge. It also deflates.

We bought this air pump to use at our trade show for blowing up some inflatable displays we use. This is the second one I have purchased, the first one I use at home to blow up air mattress' and sledding tubes. The battery for the pump lasts a long time, the air flow is great (be careful if blowing up mylar balloons, it will pop them) and it comes with two different nozzles for a wide range of valves. It is easy to use, just push the control button forward to start, pull back to stop. I would recommend this to anyone for use around the house or camp.
