This potty seat works great! Better than any others I have bought!! Read in another review "urine gets all over" but I have not had any problems with urine getting anywhere but in the toilet as long as he is in proper position! Also read "when you remove it from toilet seat, urine has dripped in 'tray like' area and the rest spills all over".....I also have not had any problems with this, if you have soft seat properly snapped into plastic part this will not happen. And, you can unsnap soft plastic seat from hard part to clean it anytime. Works best on standard size toilet with soft vinyl seat. Also, did not find any sharp edges on splash guard as previously read in other reviews. Excellent product, exactly what we needed!!!

Son likes it. My only wonder/concern is if the seat will hold up. The cushion part, that is. It is a soft seat and when he is done it is still smashed down. Just wondering if later on it will not go back to it's original shape.

I purchased this because I do not like the potty seats that sit on the floor (too messy!) I like it because it has the "P" guard which is great for when they are first starting out. The guard and the seat pad come off easily for cleaning.

Bought this for my Great-grandson. It fits the toilet well, is made well, sturdy, bright and comfortable for him. He has just started potty training and was afraid of falling in the big toilet, but now is not afraid at all.

This is an acceptable product with a few quirks. It is easy to put together (you have to snap on the cup, stock foam pads onto the bottom which I think are intended not to scratch your toilet seat and place the foam seat onto the plastic). Surprised that the cushy seat is not intended to stay attached to the plastic under piece. Perhaps I am missing something here or it's just something so you can easily disassemble and clean in case of mishaps? I thought my grandson would balk at the splashguard but he understood the concept right away and saddled right up to it, so to speak. You have to place the little boy's legs just right or the handles are sort of in the way but for the price and for the amount of time he's on the potty, it serves its purpose. Might try another brands without the handles but overall, for the value price, it's a good product.

I purchased this item mainly because of the guard on the front of the potty seat. That is the only feature that has met my expectations. The seat is very small and difficult for my grandson to get onto by himself. But, the most disappointing feature is that the seat goes totally flat with use and takes quite sometime to "bounce" back and sort of reinflate! I would not purchase this again and would choose something with a firm seat and a little larger.

My son is very excited about this seat because it has McQueen on it and Mom is very excited about it because the shield actually works!! The hole is smaller than on my Disney seat (sold on Walmart.com as a seat/stool pair) but fits my toddler well. It may not work so well for a large toddler... My son was a bit concerned that his legs made an impression in the seat because the cushion is so soft, but the seat does eventually bounce back. Definitely the first seat that I've found that I would be comfortable letting him use without help knowing there wouldn't be a mess for me afterwards.

My son loves it. I like that it has a high stopper, granted with that said sometimes urine does get under the seat (have to wipe urine off the toilet seat). My son is currently learning to use the seat and we have another product that is for teaching him to use a urinal, he usually chooses this. He does need help getting off the seat, but he is only 3' tall (and 21 months) so I'm not expecting him to be able to do it unassisted yet anyway.

I've had other seats with lower splash guards and my son's urine would shoot out of it, so I did some looking around and found this one that has a higher splash guard and haven't have any problems with it. It works perfect and my son loves it. He gets so excited to use his "Cars Potty".
I also recommend a potty hook that hooks on the side of the toilet tank for hanging the potty seat when it's not in use.

We bought this for my son as a motivational potty training item. Love the handles on it, as sometimes toddlers struggle with balance when they're doing something new like this. My only complaint is that this seat seems to "slide" off easily, the adhesive pads that go underneath it are kind of pointless and the cup doesn't seem to attach too well. Nonetheless the item is well worth the money.

I have a 3yr old son who was in love with Spongebob and last year we got him the Spongebob version. Now since he loves CARS we decided to get him this one. Unfortunately this one is not that great. Although it's made similar to the Spongebob one it doesn't sit like it. The cushion deflates after use, it doesn't pop right up. I thought to give it a few minutes but it was still sunken in. We had to keep pressing on it to get the seat back to the original look. Needless to say we ended up returning it.

I love this potty seat.
The only downside of the potty seat is that it's hard for my son to get on by himself because of the big splash guard in the front. My husband or I have to lift him on the toilet so he doesn't hurt himself getting on the seat. I figure when he's a little older he'll be able to get on without any problems.
