Love these stools. Searched all over the internet, these were cheaper, shipped faster and I could return to the store without paying for shipping. I ordered 7 for all around our bar and they are great. Went together great and so far no problems. Not recommended for younger children though.

The stool arrived earlier then what I expected which was good, the only complain I have is that I had to return it back the same day I received it. It had many defects and not properly painted(it was not fully finished as you could see the color of the stain dropping had way) so I took it back to the store, ordered a second one and color was ok but had some defects on the additional parts. I just have up and put glue on it.. Must be my bad luck

These stools are just right for fitting under my bar. The saddle seat fits nicely and is strong for our bigger guests. We are very satisfied and Wal-mart had the best price around. We ordered to have them sent to the store because the store didn't have the color we wanted.

I am very happy with this saddle stool. It has the look of an expensive stool at a very reasonable price. Assembly is easy and the quality of the materials is great. One leg of one of the stools was a tad short, but a small rubber tab that you can find anywhere took care of that problem. Overall a great buy.

I was looking for a low profile stool to fit under the bar in our kitchen. I was reluctant to purchase this stool online because the ones I have seen in stores like Target and Bed Bath Beyond were very shabby looking. This one had good reviews and I could easily return it to Walmart. It is very sturdy, I am sitting on it right now~ It is not comfortable, but is better than standing. Looks nice under the counter. Is very dark in color, looks good against any color wood flooring.

My husband put the first one together, tired, end of the day, in 25 minutes or so, and the second, first thing in the morning in 15 minutes: they both match perfectly, are sturdy, slide under the counter, and we're very pleased.
Only caveat is for very heavy persons: I wouldn't trust them for someone over, say, 250 lbs., and be prepared, they are a very dark, elegant stain--not to everyone's taste. We have them under light oak counters and the contrast is striking, beautiful.
The height is perfect for me and my husband: I am 5'9" and he is 6', and I measured the counters to be sure to get the right size: counters are 41" high, exactly, We both have long torsos. The stools could use some padding if you're gonna sit for a long time on them and don't have much of a hind-end (I don't) but other than that, nothing to say but positives.

I looked everywhere for an inexpensive saddle stool (bar height) that looked good. Other places are selling stools very similar for $80-$300. I found that this stool fit my needs perfectly and with free shipping you can't go wrong. Originally we had planned on painting them white to match our kitchen, but decided the walnut color was a great contrast. Overall I give it 5 Stars.

Built a new outdoor bar and needed stools fast for family reunion. Couldn't believe the cost of outdoor stools.....and I needed 5 bar height and 2 counter height. Decided that at this price these indoor stools would fit under the counter allowing good traffic flow when not in use. They assemble easily and are sturdy and handsome in front ofour natural stone bar. Even if they only hold up to outdoor use for a season or two, we feel they are a good value for the money. Bought all 7 for the less than the cost of one outdoor stool.

I got these so fast in the mail. I purchased 6. I am about to order 2 more. They ship flat. It really takes two people to put them together. Once we figured out how to do the first one, it was easy after that. Beautiful wood. Great color. I am going to have them outside. I'll see how they weather. For the price you can't beat it! Compared prices to other stores. These are a great deal!

I usually would never buy furniture from walmart because these items at the store appear flimsey and of poor quality. However based on other reviews on Walmart.com I ordered for store pickup and gave these stools a shot. I was amazed at the quality of this stool. It is heavy solid wood with a rich finish and very easy to assemble. Highly recommend!

I purchased two of these stools at the local Walmart store a few months ago - I was happy with the overall ergonomics and the aesthetic quality of the wood, a slightly reddish color. I was satisfied enough that I went back to the store to purchase two more stools of the same kind but could never find them in stock or, if they were displayed, they would be scratched up.
After going to the store four or five times, I finally purchased them off the website. The problem: the walnut finish of the wood was a very dark brown and did not match the red tint of my previous stools. Why would tye manufacturer have two different colored wood finishes labeled as "walnut"? Makes no sense.

Two different brands of Walnut color

I noticed that they have 2 different brands of these Saddleback Walnut stools and they both say Walnut but they are 2 very different colors. The one is the Mainstays brand and the other is this stool you wrote the review on. I'm thinking you may have purchased one of one brand and 2 of the other. Hope this information helps other buyers when purchasing additional stools.

This is a sturdy, good looking stool. I bought it to sit on when I am working in my kitchen. I purchased the 29" one. I am 5' 4" tall. I think that the 24" one would have been easier for me to get on and off of.
The bottom line is that I would buy this stool again! Good price for a good product.
