I don't mind noisy toys, but this one goes off EVERY morning at 8:00. I had to get it out of my child's room. If he slept in, he woke up because of the dumb thing (no, there's no off switch).
It's also not so easy to play the games.. My 7 year old nephew couldn't figure it out...How is my 3 year old son going to work it?
If u want it to simply teach your child the time, it's fine, but anything else, I'd not buy it! (I got it as a gift)
