Mattress is easy to lift and seems like a firm foam mattress. Baby is not born as of yet; so I can't comment on the durability or usability of the mattress.

I would not recommend this mattress for any baby. There is no support for the baby.
I returned this item also because it had two rips in it from shipping. For $20.00 more
I got a better supporting mattress.

This mattress is very sturdy, and will work fine for our upcoming baby. It fits perfectly in our Storkcraft Sheffield II Fixed Side bed, with no gaps. It is not too soft nor too hard.

My one year old daughter was able to puncture the plastic on this mattress with her baby fingernails and has since dug a hole to the other side! Had to replace after a year! My advise is to spend a little extra money and get something that wasn't made by a 1 year old for a 1 year old!

This mattress came with a furniture bundle we ordered for my daughter in 2011. I was worried about it at first because we've never ordered such an inexpensive mattress before but when we received it I it I was presently surprised. It was firm which of course was one of our number one concerns. It fit the crib perfectly and worked great! We always cosleep for a while but once we transferred her she did wonderfully. She's now 17 months and sleeps comfortably and safely every night in her crib. We are expecting our 4th baby this summer and we're planning to order another one for the new baby. Great crib mattress!

Great mattress. The mattress is very firm which is what our pediatrician recommended and fits snug in our crib ensuring no limbs would get wedged between the mattress and crib.

My baby has sentivity to allergies and his old baby mattress left him stuffy and his allergies flared. This hypoallergenic mattress has been excellent. He hasn't woken up stuffy since the switch! Highly recommend this!

Fits perfect in my Sea Island Stationary Convertible Crib. It's snug and tight all around so no spaces to worry about. The mattress is not loud/noisy how other customer's have described. So far seems like it would last for the length of time that it will be needed for.
