Was a suprise Father's Day gift.....that makes it all the better. Easy set-up. Comfortable to nap in. Sun shade could be bigger to help avoid having to turn hammock so shade blocks sun. Overall a great product. Not heavy to move since it comes with wheels. Would recommend.

Ordered this without paying close enough attention to the dimensions. We set it up and decided it was too big and too heavy for camping. When packed in the carrying case, it's almost as big and heavy as our 12x12 canopy! The hammock itself is very nice, very comfortable, and looks good. It sets up very easily. I was looking for a hammock that kept adult's rear ends from hitting the frame and this one has plenty of swing space between your rear end and the frame! We really liked it, but exchanged it for the Ozark Portable Hammock (blue one) which seems just as sturdy, only smaller and lighter.

I purchased this hammock for my husband for his birthday in August 2008. By March of 2009 it was useless. Only used it four times and the heaviest person weighed 170lbs. It tore at the seams and the fabric was useless. The weight of the person when it tore was 125lbs. Hardly meets the standard 200 plus pounds it says it will hold. I figured it cost me about $20 for each time it was used. Not in my budget for comfort.

This hammock is a great product. I purchased it about nine months ago for camping. Evertime I set it up at camp someone wants to know where I got it. I have not seen it in the stores for a couple of months, but have told everyone to look on line for it and I see it is still available. Would advise anyone to get it. I have not had any problem with the sunshade, taking it down, putting it up, or from wind damage. Also the weight limit has not been an issue because my husband also uses it and he is 240lbs. Again would highly reccomend this hammock to anyone.

The hammock was a little heavier and larger than I expected when it is stored away. It is just the right size when fully opened. And it is much more sturdy than what I expected. When using it for a while, especially if used in the swinging mode, I found that it starts to favor one side. I noticed that the reason this happens is because the support bars that run inside the fabric of the hammock on either side are secured in place by a velcro strap at one end. When the velcro strap gives way, the support bars start to come out. With out the support bars securely fastened, the hammock starts to favor the opposite side that comes undone. The hammock also comes with a very strong plastic smell to it. When sitting in it too long, the odor is distracting. I'm hoping that in time this plastic smell will minimize.

i loved to relax on the hammock when i got of work aftr 12 hour shift but on windy days the canopy top worked like a kite and would blow hammock over. otherwise family enjoyed on weekends or when weather was nice.but due to vanalism the hammock was destroyed and unable to find replacement hammock with out buying the whole system again

I was very happy with the way the hammock set up and it was very comfortable to lay in but it only lasted about an hour. The netting tore and it was unusable after just that amount of time. Just in case you might be wondering I only weigh about 120 so it was not a matter associated with that.

This hammock is fantastic!!! I absolutely love it. I had seen it on display and ended up buying it online. It is soooooo great! I can't say enough good things about it. It's comfortable, and I love that it is versatile and stylish as well. I was very impressed with the quality, especially for such a good price! I love to sit in my backyard in it and do crossword puzzles. And the sunshade is key for those days when I don't want to have to wear sunglasses or cover my eyes when reading while facing upward. It even has a cupholder on one side and a pouch for a magazine or something on the other side. It is very durable, and is made out of quality materials. I was also really surprised at how simple it is to put together. Not that different from putting up a tent in terms of the way it works. I think I had mine put together in about 10 minutes (maybe not even that long). I love that it comes in a durable case that has handles and even wheels on one side so that you can wheel it around. Finally, I LOVE that it can be used either as a swinging hammock or a stable cot. This was perfect for when I took it camping the other weekend (just popped it in its case and then into the trunk of my coupe) and wanted to sleep in it but was worried about doing a 'faceplant' (ha) if I left it swinging and accidentally turned over in the night. I solved this by using the cot-style hangers rather than the swinging hangers (all part of how it is supposed to work), and voila, no swinging! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! The next day all my friends from camping wanted to take a nap in it. It is great! Buy one, you will be so glad you did. Enjoy!

GOOD HAMMOCK, COMFY, STOREABLE, GOOD PRICE COMPARED TO OTHERS OUT THERE. ONLY DOWN FALL IS THE SUN SHADE. THE WIND COUGHT THE THE HAMMOCK AND BLEW IT OVER, THAT LITTLE CONTACT IT HAD WITH THE GROUND WORE THROUGHT THE SUNSHADE. IT SEEMED TO BE CHAEP FABRICK. ALL ELSE IS GOOD !!!

i thought that this product was portable like the others- but it does not come packaged as i thought it would, like a 'backpack.' it is pretty heavy and can be rolled in its case, but is not exactly what i was looking for, as we wanted a hammock that we could easily bring out to the beach. it is nice otherwise, but we have only had it for about a week, and it seems that the fabric may stretch. the heaviest person using it is 180 lbs, i'm not so sure that it'd hold much over 200.

This hammock is outstanding. From the time I picked it up in a site to store delivery close to me, to the time I almost had a chance to enjoy it, the experience was just great. It sets up quite easily in only a few seconds and my children were asleep in it only a few seconds more. If their experience is any indication, I will love it.

Very nice and easy to assemble. We use it when camping so the easy assembly part was a must. Only thing that we had happen was the sun shade seam ripped when putting in the stakes that hold it together. So, be careful when putting them into the holes.

This product was a Father's day gift for my husband. My two young boys helped me set it up in the yard. It is very easy to put together. Seems sturdy and the sun shade is nice. I didn't realize that it came in a storage bag that has wheels (it's heavy). This makes it nice to store, take camping and move to different locations in the yard. The product itself is not waterproof, so you would not want to set it up and just leave it out for long periods of time.
