Couldn't yet decide on a widescreen, so bought this to replace a dead 31" CRT TV. Only had it 2 weeks, but cannot find any significant cons. I get every OTA digital broadcast station in the Tampa Bay area, except for 38 and 66, while using set top UHF/VHF rabbit ear antenna over 30 yrs old!! Pictures and sound are very good for the price paid. Big, loud music might disappoint, but not that I've noticed so far. Not sure about long term reliability, so got WMT 2 yr extended warranty added to one yr base warranty.

After learning that another retailer did not have a very similiar Sansui 27 inch TV in stock like their website claimed, I purchased this fine product at Wal Mart. Ended up saving about $50 by getting it at Wal Mart instead of the other place and for the money ( Under $200 before tax ) this TV is a great bargain and a very good product. When a close relative saw mine, he went to the same Wal Mart store and bought one for himself. Only drawback is the remote control is a little on the small side, so seniors may have a small amount of difficulty in seeing and pushing the small buttons. Other than that, a GREAT BUY !! Thanks Wal Mart.

I bought this TV this morning, and all I can say is WOW! It has an extremely nice picture, excellent color, and decent sound... For the price I do not believe I could have made a better purchase! My wife and mother in law also complimented on how nice it is, and we are all very happy with this beautiful television... THANX WALMART!!!!

We needed 30 digital TVs at a good price, and because it was for a motel installation, we did not want flat panel TVs. We had 2 of the 30 TVs that we had to return - one had a green edge on the picture, the other had a broken case like it had been dropped although it worked perfectly. But we really like the product. It solved our problem cheaply.

I ordered this product online, being that Walmart does not stock tube-like tv's. So, I had it shipped to the store to save some money. The tv arrived at the store in a week. So all this time, I had to wait for this tv to come in, then had the hassle of getting it into my car and bringing it home.. So I bring it home, and what do you know, the coloring is all messed up, which is the whole reason I was buying a new tv, because my current one had the same problem. So then I had the hassle of loading it back into the car again and taking it back. I bought this tv because it was cheap compared to buying a flat, and seemed like I was getting good quality for little money spent. I was wrong. I did not exchange for another one, I just paid a couple extra hundred and went with a Sanyo flat screen. I definately wouldn't recommend buying the Sansui tv- save the hassle!

My major problem is that the remote did not work at all. I ordered it online and I still have not been able to get a replacement remote. The volume is really weak, but ok for a small room. I guess its time to purchase the lcd tv's now.

The only thing I don't like about it is the weight of the set, I can't pick it up. Otherwise it has a beautiful picture, sounds good and has a decent-sized screen. I hope it ages as well as the old Sanyo it replaced, which was purchased at Wal-Mart in 1992.

This TV has an excellent picture and lots of connectivity options. The picture is colorful and contrasty, and there is just about every feature you could want in a CRT TV. The sound quality is a little weak, but still okay. Unfortunately, like most CRT sets manufactured in the last few years, there are some geometry issues. Luckily the picture is straight and doesn't cut off at the bottom, but there is pretty severe cropping at the right side. For example, "HGTV" becomes "HGT", and things that are supposed to be in the center appear to be slid over to the right. I had a 27" Apex a few years ago that had this exact same problem. I wish I knew why TVs don't have user-accessible geometry controls like computer monitors do. Other than this one problem, this is a nice set and a great value.

Received the boxed t.v. at local Wal-Mart in Crosby within time frame promised and in excellent condition. Wee heavy for 70 year old but manageable. Read the book first to avoid complications. Well written book. Clicker and menu is easy to understand. Picture and size is great. Sound has a slight tinny sound and a near whistle on some links. But, I can now see and read the fine print on the screen and do not have to use the inferior converter boxes. Recommend it. BTW, it runs great off a generator while lights were out for 18 days after Hurricane Ike's center passed over my home at 4:00 a.m. on Sept 12th.
