It could be assembled by one person but you really do need 2 just for ease of it...it comes with the screws and tools you need. Since it's online only it would have been nice if the site had some pictures of it that showcased the frame. And since it's online only there was a ton of packaging to clean up.
It's a lot lower to the ground than I thought from the pictures. It's maybe 2 feet or so off the ground if that, so for someone tall like me, it's quite low, but for a lounger to just lay on and recline now and then it's ok.
It's ok to sleep on, though the mattress could be thicker if you're going to do that more than just once in a while...or just add your own extra cusions if needed. But overall to sleep on now and then if needed it's pretty comfortable. I'm a bigger gal and it supports my weight just fine with no issues thus far...which is good and shows the sturdyness of the framework.
The pillows are great, VERY comfortable and soft. It's easy to move the arms to recline or lay down. It's been a great buy for me and good to have in my room. I was pleasently suprised at how good a value this has ended up being for the money, after MANY hours of searching for a lounger/futon with limited room for it in my bedroom.
I would recommend this for anyone needed an extra bed, guest bed, or for a room as a place to just relax for tv/computer or whatever.
