Very happy with Walmarts site-to-store service, they provided good communication through e-mail and the entire process went smoothly. I like the fridge because it is such a nice size and I love the fact it does not waste space with those dumb little freezers that just take up room and freeze the items in the fridge. The big down fall to this fridge is the fact that the temperature control on the back of the fridge not inside it. This is a huge problem for us since this fridge is inside our bar. This means there is no way to adust the temp.

I purchased this model to replace an older compact refrigerator that was always leaking from ice build-up in the freezer compartment.
Although there is no freezer in this model, the rear wall ices up continually, plugging the small drain hole. I've tried different setting and re-leveling the unit to no avail.
I have to keep a towel on the bottom shelf to keep the water from flooding the floor.

I wanted a compact fridge, without freezer, and with compressor which can get contents colder than those without compressors. Also wanted one next step up from the smaller "cube" type fridges but still short enough to fit under my office desktop. Danby 2.5 cu ft (27.75" tall, color black) fits all these criteria. The only gripe I have about the fridge is the "coke can holders" lining half the door. I wish they made these easy to remove for people who don't do canned drinks, so I could use the space for something else. Took me 6 weeks to get it due to Walmart shipping snafus, and box was rather battered on arrival, but fridge seems to be undamaged and works fine. I bought this to replace a Galaxy cube fridge that died after a year. I hope this Danby lasts longer.

Bought this to put in the office. Nice size - holds plenty of drinks and food and don't have to worry about defrosting a freezer compartment. Vinyl top is handy - put a coffeemaker there. With the temperature level at about the halfway point it keeps soft drinks nice and cold. Have only had it a couple of weeks so I can't really comment on durability but so far so good. Will say packing seemed minimal but mine was undamaged when received.

I bought this a month ago for a classroom at school, and it has been great so far! Its pretty quiet (even when there aren't students in there), and definitely stays cold - i found a little ice in my water bottle the other day so I will have to change the setting. I also like that all of the shelves are adjustable. Overall, great product!

After reading other reviews I was skeptical about ordering this online. I decided to go for it but made sure I examined it for scratches or dents before taking it home. All was well but when I loaded it with soda and beer I discovered that the thermostat switch worked intimidatingly. Wal*Mart readily refunded my money. I purchased the same brand but a larger capacity compact refrigerator from a different store. The Danby company would do well to charge a few more dollars and install a small LED light to show when the compressor is working and an interior light. The unit is very quiet and when working, works well.

Ordered on-line sight unseen (because no Energy Star units are available in the local store). Nice durable finish and due to no freezer has more inside room than expected. The setting control sticks out the back so that is a little different. It also doesn't allow it to sit too close to a wall, so that's probably a good thing.

i bought it to my son in college, so that I am looking the coldest refrigerator without freezer section, in order to keep meat or dairy product longer time. I check the marketing review that I found out this one and give it a trial. It cool down to 38 degree in around 40 minutes and the temperature control only in the middle of the range. I wanted a compact refrigerator for my office for keeping cold drinks and foods close at hand. This mini-frig works very well and exceeds my expectations. It is quiet and energy-efficient.
