This is a good game for kids and adults alike. Fun to play but be careful, it is easy to get caught up and lose track of time. Family loves it!! From 8 years to 40 years.

I had gotten this the year it came out, so I've had it for a while, and it's honestly better than any other computer game I have ever played! I mean, the Nancy Drew games are absolutely great fun, but you can't decide what YOU want in those games. Here, I can decide what I want and where!

I was going to buy this for my kids. I really was. But I am so addicted to it, they haven't been able to play yet. Great graphics! You can't beat $10. It was worth every penny. i love this game so much! One of the best I have ever played. Now I am going to get Zoo Tycoon 2.

I have had this game for several years and have not grown tired of it yet. I play it all the time and still have several things to unlock.

I have to re-buy it because I got a new computer but lost my original disk with just the Zoo Tycoon (no expansion packs) on it, but for less than $10, I can't complain.

I recommend this to anyone with younger children or even animal loving teens, even adults will love to play this when they have some time to spare!

This game is so FUN. I play it all the time(non-stop). If you don't have this game and you are thinking about buying it...well stop thinking and just buy it. Trust me its worth the money. You might not stop playing it like me.

This game was excellent for the value. A very good first game for Zoo Tycoon. If you like animals, have played sims, and like building, I would recommend this game. You really lose yourself in the success of your zoos.

This game is soo good you really lose track of time and just dont want to quit! i would like to recomend you save often tho,,,accidents happen and i have lost hours of work not saving as i went along,,now i save after every build,,i lost 4 hours work one day because i was stupid and it just ERRORED no reason or rhyme,,now,,,every build,,,its not hard to save it all the time and it will save YOU a headache,,as for as the game?? I would Rather have more expansions of THIS version than even one of zoo tycoon 2,,which is so hard to manuver,,hated that one,,LOVE THIS ONE!! So since its never the same game twice,,,i will just keep replaying this one,,OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well you get the idea

i liked this game i could play it for hours. the only thing that i wish they would have done was given you hints about the secret stuff that you can unlock. (and i'm not giving any hints sense i had to find them on my own). but overall i  would say this game kept me playing for hours! everyone should buy it.
