Wal-mart has far exceeded my expectations again. I ordered this product late but still received it before Christmas so that I could wrap it and place it under the tree. I love the product and my 11 month old is very attentive to the DVD's. He hasn't started signing yet but I know it takes a month or two before signing begins. I believe this product will be a great tool to help my child to communicate his needs.

OK for a few basics, 12/30/2008

I was hoping to get more words to work with my 14month old. He is my third child and was hoping for a new way to approach the baby signs. Unfortunately we already knew all the words in this set. Suppose if you had not tried any other product before this would be usefull, but not if you already know the basics.

As an Early Childhood Educator, I would highly recommend signing with babies. It reduces their frustration from the inablility to communicate, resulting in fewer tantrums!!! Yea!!! We had been using a few baby signs with my son since he was 4 months old to make it routine, and now at the age of 9 1/2 months, he has been signing for "more", "eat", and "all done". This product introduces many more signs in an entertaining way! First you see the host, Rachael, sign and then you see real children doing the action and signing. There is plenty of repetion and songs that are actually enjoyable to the parent. I highly recommend this product as a parent and as a teacher!

This is an awesome product. Bought it for my baby, but my older kids loved it. zThey learned all the signs in less than an hour.

This product is great for the price, it comes with flash cards and DVD's i haven't yet used the DVD's but the flash cards are very explanitory on how to do each sign. I have taken ASL in school, so i knew most of the signs it was just a refresher to teach my 15 mth old son and he loves it, we've had it for about a week and he can already sign more, thank you, please, and eat!!!
