I ordered this bookcase headboard for a second home sight unseen, and did not see an example of it in my local Walmart. However, I went ahead and ordered it on the basis of good reviews. It arrived well-packed, with no damaged or missing pieces, and was easy to put together. I like it.

on its own its a nice head baord. looks beautiful is sturdy BUT the oicture is decieving! the picture shows big pillows on the bed but reality is if you have alot of fluffy and decoritive pillows 80% of the headboars is covered so you only see the flat top of the headboard. almost makes to pointless to have one.

I am glad that I purchased this headboard. Shipping was fast. Putting it together was very easy. It took me about 1 1/2. And that was my first time putting furniture together. It looks great. It was a fun project for me. I simply follow the instruction that came in the box. I am very satisfy with my headboard. That's exactly what I needed for my apartment.

Everything arrived without any damage and the instructions were very clear to follow. I think it took me about 45 minutes to put together. It looks great with my son's new queen size mattress. I love the shelves for his books, alarm clock and little odds and ends. I was very pleased with the price I paid ($89).

This headboard looks way better up close that it does in the picture. Went together really rather easily, only problem we had assembling it was keeping the backing flat while nailing it on which was easily solved by one of us holding while the other nailed. You just can't beat this headboard for the price.

I found this product online and was thrilled with the price and all of the excellent reviews. I had wanted a new headboard (mine was really old and squeaks) and a new nightstand because I wanted one with a drawer for more storage for remotes, etc. I decided I would buy this and keep my current nightstand. Turns out I won't be keeping my nightstand because I don't need it. I love all of the storage space and the beautiful dark color matched my desk perfectly. It looks way more expensive than it is. Two things: 1. I don't like "clutter" but when you make your bed it pretty much hides the shelves anyways, and 2. Keep in mind it is about 10in wide so add that length to your bed and make sure you have enough room still. Overall, I'm very pleased!

functional and easy to assemble, like most sauder products this headboard holds a nice variety of stuff for my 7 year old boy's room. shelves are technically a little small for holding any serious big/ thick books. edges are pointy. given the very simple design, i would've expected a little better value price. otherwise, this item is what i expected.
