Awesome Book!

I read this book in one day! Could not put it down! It's one of three in the series, and ended up reading the entire series in one weekend. I loved it so much i had to buy it for my collection. I have never been much of a reader, but after my heart attack i took up reading in my spare time, So i cabbaged on to the young adult venue, and im not sorry i did!! Very impressed with the quality of the book when it came after i ordered it. Thought it would be small and cheesy, but its a good size book and its hardback!

This is a wonderful Book the 1st one and 2nd one is amazing i cant wait till i get the 3rd one! it is a great story line it keeps you on the edge of your seat!! i read the book in a few days because it was SOOO good!!!!! i have to find out what happen next! :)

I loved this book. Love the fact that it leaves it on a cliff hanger, so it makes you want to keep reading. Never boring what so ever. Can't wait to buy the next one!!!

The cover would lead one to believe that this is just another one of those vampire books, but it actually has nothing to do with them (thankfully)! In fact, the cover doesn't even really seem to fit with the book at all; seemingly only chosen for it's attractiveness to teen girls. The book is actually very, very well written and it truly scared me in some parts, which is really hard to do! It would be a great read for Halloween, but also for any other time.
The story follows a young woman who suddenly starts to see dead people at the onset of puberty (no, it's not the Sixth Sense!) and is terrified by it. She gets sent away from her high school to a special boarding school for teens with mental problems. At least, that's what it's passed off as. As she learns more and more about the other students trapped there, she comes to find out that those who can't get rid of their problems are disposed of because of a deep, dark secret from the past of the school's founder. Chilling, extremely unique, and real-life.
