This is a must have. The charge holds for a very long time. I use the Wii Fit pretty much every day and I went through a lot of batteries.

The rechargeable battery pack is a must-have accessory for your Wii Fit. With three of us using the exerciser, we had to replace the regular batteries after less than six weeks. The cost of four batteries every six weeks adds up really fast; simply plugging the battery pack into the Wii is saves us that expense. The rechargeable pack is convenient and easy-to-use. For what it's worth, I highly reccommend this item!

The battery plugs into your Wii console to charge, not AC outlet which limits you a little, but the charge lasts quite a while.

After 2 weeks, the batteries that came with my Wii Fit were burned out - this rechargeable setup lasts 3 weeks without needing to be recharged. A good investment!!
