I tried other third party controllers but nothing is better than this. The other remote required batteries ($), a bluetooth connector, and it didn't have the shock response. I now have three controllers but I will use the Sony ones first, sorry for the third player.

I got my ps3 at christmas time. The controller is relaiable cause my brother has thrown it across the room and still work i have had the controller for about a year now and my brother still throws it and it still works. so i really recommend the product to anybody.

These controllers are great. So far the battery life is good. Don't like that I can only charge them when the system is on but you can pretty much use any sort of usb cable that you have (that has the same sort of connection of course). Instead of having to purchase the sony cord, I am able to charge my second remote with a cord that came with a digital photo frame. Havent tried the motion sensor yet but so far so good!

I've played with both the DualShock 3 and the Sixaxis. The DualShock blows the Sixaxis out of the water. There is a definite diference between the two. I always seem to have problems with the sixaxis controllers (sticky x button, etc..) It is much more worth it to buy the DualShock then the sixaxis.

This product is pretty standard wherever you buy it from, including the price, so I didn't expect it to be any different at WalMart. My only complaint is that it does not come with a wire to charge it. Luckily, we already had one but if both controllers need charged you cannot do it at the same time. Kind of a bummer.

I love the fact it is wireless. The only thing is you need to be sure to charge it when it's not in use. I recommend purchasing another USB cable so you can charge both controllers at the same time.
