My dentist has told me for years to get a WaterPik. I finally went for it when I found this one for such a reasonable price. It is easy to use and doesn't take up much counter space (where I can have a visual reminder to use it!) I add a bit of Listerine for an added benefit, but be sure to rinse thoroughly if you do that! I definitely think it is well worth the price!

The product is fairly easy to use, once you get used to how to regulate the flow of water. You can vary the water pressure quite a lot, which I like, and it does a good job. I don't know why they call it a "family" oral irrigator as it only has 2 different tips. It also has an attachment to clean the tongue.
This item was a good buy for the money.

I really enjoy using this product. What I like the most, is being able to use mouthwash in addition to water or by itself. The only thing that is somewhat awkward, is stopping the Waterpik temporarily to rinse the water out of your mouth. You have to close your mouth when using the waterpik, but you have to stop to rinse the water out of your mouth. The only way to stop the machine is to turn it off or press the button on the handle, which makes a ton of noise. Otherwise a great product for the money.

Love it, love it, love it, with one small exception. . . . the water container interferes with the placement of the the handle/tip placement. I wish there was just a little more clearence between the two. This is the perfect model for me (I don't need all the bells and whistles)except for that.

Waterpik has been around for a long time and we all know what it does, and it pretty much looks the same. I only had a couple of knocks against the old tried and true dental hygiene tool. The first is that the power cord doesn't stow; you wind it up on the bottom of the machine, and then there is no means to secure it. Some folks want to put it away after each use. The other beef is that the pressure line from the machine to the nozzle-head seems to have a really tight permanent coiling to it and it is too short for me, to a point of annoyance. Other than that, it's another fine piece of American craftsmanship made in China.

I love my new waterpik. But, i have a few problems. It is loud, it sounds like a jackhammer in my bathroom!! I would also like to have a lid that way nothing can get in it. But, otherwise it works great and does a great job cleaning my teeth.

Have only used it a few times since Christmas...but my daughter loves it--she has braces and says that it gets her mouth "dentist" clean. The only con I see right now is that I thought that I was getting 4 attachments for 4 family members--it really onlly came with enough for 2 family members--one cleaner and one tongue cleaner--I will have to either buy 4 more or sanitize them for others to use (yukk).

I really like the clean feeling it gives me. It works well and has flexibility. I can mix mouthwash with the water or salt. I will play around with it.

I have used Waterpiks for years. The older models lasted much longer. The warranty is in name only. A call to the company suggested not to expect the product to last for any appreciable time. Operates as advertised but a bit noisy. Unfortunatly I know of no other product that compares to the Waterpik.

I recently had braces put on and new that I needed to purchase this type of product. I searched on-line and compared prices and decided this was the best product. I've had the product about 2 weeks now and it works great. It definitely does the job. Takes some getting use to manuevering around in your month. It's messy but what home product of ths kind is not. I highly recommend for those with or without braces. It takes your dental hygiene to another level.
