Sony 46" Class Bravia Full HD 1080p LCD HDTV w/ Digital Tuner, KDL-46S4100 - Energy Star Compliant

It would have been helpful to know that the TV did not come with connecting wires. I also needed to obtain a new cable box since my old one (which was a HD box) did not have an HDMI connection. If you haven't connected with an HDMI try it the difference was amazing.

This is nice TV. I have a 36 LCD and love it so desided on a bigger one. Actually my daughter's TV is on the verge going out and thought about buying her one, but desided to give her my 1-year old 36" LCD and get me a bigger one. Can't not beat a LCD

IMHO, this is a great TV. It is all I could have
asked for. Had it delivered to my house, everything
went so smooth. Walmart is the best.

The Sony Bravia is an excellent buy for the money. I shopped around online and in the stores and this was the best deal I'd come across. I was a little disappointed that the Site to Store delivery took so long -- it was almost three weeks, but otherwise the service and merchandise were good.

We are totally happy with this purchase. Reading the reviews posted by others helped us in choosing this Sony TV. Thanks for the heads up on the fifteen second delay when you turn it on.......
The color is great, the sound is wonderful and we are completely satisfied. Wish we would have bought it earlier. Highly recommend this one!

TV blacked-out after just 5 weeks. After 1/2 hour on the phone with Sony, I was told that it needs servicing but there is no authorized service center in my area. I had to call Sears and am now awaiting a call-back from their service repair person. Be carefull what you wish for...my $1500 "dream" TV and new stand soon turned into a nightmare. My 14 year old 26" dinosaur is looking better by the minute.

It was a "decent" TV. Picture in HD looked fantastic (I'll get to the buts later).

We had the TV for a day. Played Xbox 360 on it for the majority of this time with some mixed HD cable in to let the Xbox cool down.

Once we switched to the Wii however, we realized that one of the component inputs didn't work and the Wii was in black and white.

What did we do? We went back to the store to return this TV. What my husband found was astonishing though. There was a PHILIPS TV that was 47" and 120hz with a 2ms refresh rate. Well this was a no brainer as the Philips set was also 100 dollars less expensive than the Sony.

So we ended up getting an extra inch of TV, a better refresh rate for that big super bowl game, another HDMI input, and spending less, not to mention the fact that when you look at the Philips in the store, the difference in picture quality is a no brainer.

Sony enthusiasts won't be disappointed with this TV, however I'd suggest making sure all of the inputs work correctly as soon as you unbox the set. If you choose the Philips (not on Walmart.com to my understanding), make sure you turn the dynamic contrast off, as the dynamic contrast feature doesn't refresh very well (yellows are white and gradually warm up to their intended color).

When we got the HD signal,the picture was amazing

I am extremely pleased with this television and would suggest it to anyone.
Has great color, sound, and features for the price.
I replaced a 60" projection TV and worried this would look too small, but it's actually a better size for the room than the 60" was.
I just hope it lasts longer than the 60" top of the line Sony that I purchased 4 years ago and already burned out. They wanted $800.00 for the video panel and said I would soon have to replace the back light for another $250-300.00.
