Charges the iPod, but audio is hissing,

Well, it will surely charge your ipod, but don't expect a clean audio out of your car speakers. I have a pretty good system on my Ford Mustang (Shaker 500), but I kept hearing hissing and whining noises, when playing music from my iPod touch with the i.Sound charger plugged in. The charger even hisses while no audio device is plugger in to it.
Got a different solution - Griffin PowerJolt SE Car charger for iPhone/iPod (search for it here on this site). Lo and behold, the audio from my iTouch is just as clear as from a CD player. Kudos 2 Griffin!
As for the i.Sound charger...it'll be just that, a charger for our other ipods.

This item was part of my iPod bundle. After trying to use the charger, I could see why it was part of the bundle. After attaching it to my iPod, I had the hardest time removing it from my iPod. I had to pull so hard that the wires came out of the head of the part of the charger that attaches to the bottom of my iPod.

I thought that you could play the music and recharge at the same time. Tthe charger states ISound not recharging which is misleading. I would have ordered the wall charger if I had knowned the difference.

The 2nd time my daughter used it the cord came out and could not be fixed. I had to pay an additional charge to replace it with a different kind. Would not recommend this product
