Bissell Pet Hair Eraser HEPA Dual Cyclonic Bagless Upright Vacuum

Finally had some extra money to spend and got a nice vacuum that our family needed. We own THREE dogs and TWO cats, so you can imagine why we selected the PET HAIR ERASER bissell. And it lived up to its name.

MY favorite feature is the fact that you can just take the canister off and dump it into the trash. No bags.

Purchased this to replace my 13 yr old vacuum. First of all, the instructions were kind of confusing but I just followed the picture on the box and it was pretty easy. Took me less than 15 min. to put together. The first time I vacuumed I was amazed at how much was picked up. The container was filled just from my livingroom. It sucked up pet hair, our hair, dust and what looks like brown sand (which I didnt even know was in my carpet). And my carpets do look alot better after using it. But I have noticed that even though it is good with what I have listed above and it does have strong suction, it will not pick up other items as easily. (ex: I make hairbows for my daughters and I often have string, thread and very small ribbon strands). I often have to go over them several times before they are sucked up. Which can get fustrating. The attatchments are ok, to me its nothing to get excited over (lol). The 2 major problems I do have and the reason why I say this vacuum is just "ok" and gave it 3 stars is... #1. the vacuum is VERY loud. I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment and would not recommend this for anyone who also lives in an apt. #2. to push its ok, it glides itself very easy across the carpet. BUT then to pull it back its very heavy. After doing my livingroom and 1/2 way through my diningroom my arm was hurting very bad. I thought maybe it was the setting I had it on but after playing around with it on different setting it still the same.

I have my own cleaning business and I thought I was using a good vacuum--until I purchased this Bissel Pet Eraser Vacuum. Wow---I am a clean person with a clean home and I couldn't believe the stuff that came out of my vacuum the first time I used it. My daughter and I made it an experiment. We took two brown grocery bags and labled one "upstairs" and the other "downstairs". There was probably 1/4 of each bag filled with pet hair and dust! I was so disgusted, but happy at the same time. My carpet looks like new and it smells so clean! I would definitely tell all of my friends to buy this vacuum. It works better than a Dyson! (and I use a Dyson at one of my client's homes every week) A++++++++++++

I run a daycare, so I am ALWAYS vacuuming! This is awesome!!! Picks up everything and easy to use the attachements!!! I cannot say enouph about this product. My other one broke thanks to the kids and I am rushing out to get another one! By the way, I have 3 cats and 1 dog and you would never know it thanks to this vacuum cleaner!!!! :)

I always buy cheap products but after I got a demonstration of a Kirby vacuum in my home against my previous vacuum, I felt deprived!!! I could not afford a Kirby vacuum so I did some research to find something similar to a Kirby that I could afford! For the money I think this vacuum is the closest you can get to a Kirby! The first day we bought it, we put it together to make sure it picked up the dirt in our carpet. We vacuumed our whole house and could not believe how much dirt our carpet contained. This vacuum is great! Also, to see how much dirt it picked while we vacuumed was amazing!!! Our old vacuum is sitting outside by the dumpster if someone needs a cheap vacuum cleaner!!!!

This vacuum is the best I have had in the last four vacuums I"ve owned. In fact, it is outstanding!! After vacuuming my carpet I couldn't believe the difference. My carpet looked like new and it is 10 years old. I would recommend it to anyone who happens to have pets. What was a major problem is now no problem at all.

I've used a lot of products designed to pick up pet hair and this one is by far the best I've tried. With seven cats pet hair is an ongoing problem. The pet hair eraser does an outstanding job on floors and furniture. I had no idea there was so much fur hidden in my carpet! It is a bit heavier to use than my self-propelled Hoover Wind Tunnel, but I'm sure it's the "self-propelled" that I miss. Over all, I'm thrilled and the price is great.

I love this vacuum! It picks up pet hair that I couldn't even see. The day I got it I emptied the canister 5 times! Utterly shocking, since I thought the Electrolux I had was doing an ok job. I not only got up tons of hair, but also sand, and powdery dust. I actually enjoy vacuuming now, and am working on years of built-up, unseen dirt.

I was amazed at the hair that this vacuum picked up . It is the first time that my house has been free of cat hair. My furniture also looks great. I love this vacuum and it is worth every penny that I paid for it. I would recommend this product to everyone with pets.
