This is the BEST camera that I have ever owned in my LIFE! The quality is amazing on this little lightweight camera. EXTREMELY durable because I dropped it on solid concrete when it fell out of my pocket and barely scratched at all!! The microphone is VERY, VERY good quality! I carry this little thing with me where ever I go because I never know when something is exciting! (And it gets a LOT of praise, for example; "Whoa, is that a Flip?!" and "That little thing has that good quality?!") I just can't thank Flip Video for all that they have done to make the highest quality portable camcorder in the WORLD!

We bought this for our 21y old son who will soon be going to the Marines. To him this was a huge improvement over the videos he was shooting with his cellphone. The size is very compact, the picture quality is great, the price is reasonable, and it is very easy to use - right out of the box. He has no complaints. I just hope he does not lose his current job because now he is videotaping the pranks he is pulling on his boss. : )

I bought this for my fiance for christmas. He was looking at camcorders for awhile however great camcorders are beyond my budget. After seeing these commercials repeatedly, I finally decided that he migh like this. And he loved it. It was so easy to use too!

This camcorder has amazing quality! Including sound and picture. The built-in speakers are very crisp and loud too. My grandparents ordered this for me for Christmas and it got back ordered. Then they called me and it came in the day before we came to their house. I was so excited!
Pros: Quality, Durability, Picture, Sound
Cons: Little pricy, but worth it, Finger-print magnet

I purchased 3 of these video cameras for my daughters. They each have blogs and 2 are mothers. My youngest just left for 2 years in East Asia. She has uploaded several videos for us to see. They are very easy to use and the software is not too difficult.

Luckily this camcorder came with a Quick Start Guide because there is no manual. But, being that it's relatively simple to operate, I guess it wasn't really necessary. There is operating assistance by phone or email that responds quickly as well as online help categories that answer most questions.

If you're looking for ease of use and the absolute best way to get your movie from camera to computer or dvd, look no further. Flip has the process perfected. The camera's size is perfect for purse or pocket. The audio/video quality is good and the time it takes to post it to internet is super fast. Really happy with this purchase.

This camera is GREAT! Its so easy to use with the flip out USB arm and no cd rom disk to install. I love the picture quality and the sound quality. I love EVERYTHING about it....except what I use it for. I use it to sing and record videos on youtube and upload them and whenever pronouncing the letter "s" or "t" it gives me a horrible lisp. People on the internet can be so rude and demeaning so therefore I wasn't happy with the lisp that it gave me and I returned it and got a refund. I wanted it to work so bad I even called Pure Digital which is the manufacturer of Flip products and asked if I could use an external mic and they said no, it doesn't support an external mic so I returned it. I wanted to keep it so bad and tried everything I could, to keep it, but in the end, for what I use it for, it didn't work out. HOWEVER, its an excellent product otherwise and I'd DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone no matter what their age. I'm going to attach a video I sang on youtube (don't mind the singing, it was horrible and off key) but I want you guys to see what I'm saying. Normally when speaking or singing, I don't have a lisp. The only downfall of this product I'd say is that the audio is a little tinny sounding in certain spots...of the house...my house.

Start up is easy, clarity is excellent, light in weight, compact, fits in a shirt pocket. Ive used it on seven different occasions and the battery is still charged right from the box.

I am very happy with the quality of the video, especially with indoor lighting. The software makes it very easy to upload videos to YouTube and to send them to friends. I have only had my flip for a week and already have 30 videos and 2 movies. It is fun and easy to use and a good deal for the money.

I have not used a video camera in over 10 years and that was my parents video camera when they filmed the kids sporting events. I gave this product 4 stars because I don't have anything to compare it to. It is a very useful product for shooting daily activities, birthdays, special occasions, etc. However, I would not purchase it to make anything besides a home video. I found it really easy to upload the videos to my computers and view the videos on my TV. It's great to take on vacation because it is small enough to put into a small clutch handbag but I can also put it in a backpack or bigger handbag. This video camera has been useful in documenting my family's life and we will be able to show our kids videos from before they were born.

Very easy to use.It's so simple it's kinda scarey. Still not a great camera in low light area but is so compact and easy to use, that its great for every day use. Just pull it out of your pocket, power it on, aim, and wahla, memories taken. The price is very competitive with what is out there today. My advice would be if you don't want to spend a lot but want good quality memories. Grab one and enjoy the possibilities.

I wanted something small i could attach to my camera mount on my motorcycle. something that could be removed easily and put in a pocket..this was it.. Wow. the quailty of the videos is great.. and using part of each video to put together a movie is very cool and easy.. emailing to friends is easy too right from the flipvideo software.. cant say enough.. wish the cost was lower, but a great little camcorder.. now my friends want one.

I love my new Flip Mino. The camera has good quality and the microphone works well. It doesn't take long to charge and the battery lasts longer than I thought it would. It works great in low light and the USB flip out plugs right into your laptop for upload and charge. My only concern is that the buttons have a very light touch and it is easy to delete your videos without even knowing it if you carry it loose in your hand or pocket and leave the power on. You can't beat the price for such a high quality device.

Actually heard this mentioned on Regis & Kelley one morning while at the gym. Checked ti out and it looked OK. Good price at Wal-Mart. Love the camera, small, fits in my shirt pocket and takes great videos. The included software is easy to use. If you want a small carry-around video camera, try this one.
