i love this little cam , i got the waterproof case also, just got back from snorkeling ginnie springs, they work great no leaks.pic turned out amazing. eazy to use. it works at the beach in surf, great in the rain also. make sure to rinse and clean w/ micro fiber cloth.

My experience with the Flip ultra was bad. It stopped working after 100 days. They only are guaranteed for 90. They did end up replacing it and the second one stopped working after about 4 months. They wouldn't replace or fix the replacement.
Obviously I will not be getting another Flip. Mine were lemons! __________________

I just purchased the more inexpensive line and was very impressed with the great quality of the pictures. Also different types of software for presenting your movies were included within the camcorder. I think they are simple to use and would make great gifts.

I bought this little camcorder for my niece for her birthday so have not used it personally. My niece thinks it's great. She's been making youtube videos using her digital camera. She says this is way better. Definitely has better sound quality, and she says it's great in low light. She seems to be very happy with it.

This is a video camera even a klutz can love. There are no multiple settings...so nothing can go wrong. It is also super easy to transfer your mini movies to your computer, YouTube, or email. I love the templates that can be selected to automatically make videos with music. Recommendation: buy three and hand them to budding videographers (teenage boys work well) at a wedding or family event. The result will be fantastic.

You don't even need to look at the booklet to figure out which buttons do what. The videos load to the computer super easy. The only problem I have with it is that the video can be a little grainy looking, but i'm ok with that, especially considering its price. I would defiantly recommend this to someone who wants a camera without frills. Oh and the videos are also very easy to edit. :)

A great way to share family videos on the internet. Keep in touch with friends and family who live far away. Easy and fun to use. The Flip Ultra is really a great item. Clear pix that you can send as a clip or combine several clips into one movie. Easy to use and compact - about the size of our cell phone.
Entire program is contained in the unit and downloads into your pc with no problems. captures sharp images but is weak on sound quality due to small size built in mike. Operating and using system is a quick learn.

This is great to carry in my bag for whenever I want to record whatever is going on. It comes with a cloth bag to keep the scratches at bay. The only 'complaint,' if you can call it that, is that it doesn't zoom very far. But I can say,we have had so much fun with this and plan to use it for quite a while.

great sound and video quality. CRYSTAL CLEAR. i used it for youtube videos because i sing. it made me have a horrible LISP that i don't have. i normally do not have a lisp but when singing songs with the letter s in them, i had one...big time. so i returned it. it was very light-weight, pretty color green, easy to use but no way to adjust settings such as light, volume etc. how it comes is how you get it. overall its a great product and i would have kept it if i didn't using it for singing and the lisp issue.

i bought the flip because i wanted a cheap little camera for youtube but its really low qaulity, and now its not working i tried everything, i tried new batteries and other stuff but it still doesnt work. its also really low qaulity, and some times when i upload the video to youtube, the voices are really low pitched and dont sound like the people that were talking at all.the zoom isnt that great either, overall i give this product 4/10

I put this camera to the true test last month by taking it on a 18 day vacation to Florida,Bahamas and Disney. I let the kids use it I used I also bought the underwater case for it so it was in and out of the ocean and pools too. It held up great! The only (minor) thing I didn't care for was the fact that you have to be REALLY still since there is no stabilizer in it, but most of the time that wasn't an issue. I purchased this item on yesterday and so far I absolutely love it. I was actually looking for the MinoHD, but the quality of the video was great so think works just fine. I took it to school with me and my co-workers fell in love with it too. It was/is easy to use and quite small and compact. I will keep my original packaging for a month or so because I read the many coments on here. Finally, the color is perfect for my Dell laptop.
