This iron flattens thick hair in a flash. The higher heat setting is a plus also the automatic shut-off. The color is nice. It does not snag or grab hear like others. I wish they made in a 2".

Bought this product about three weeks ago....stopped working a couple days ago. The iron will turn on but will not heat up at all. While it worked it worked great. I'm going to return the broken one and try it again.

This flat iron was well worth the mony. We had a Colorful Seasons flat iron that cost $129.00. This flat iron works better than the expensive one. My daughter has course hair and it flattens out quickly. If you don't have course hair you should probably go with the other irons. I highly recommend this flat iron because I was also pleasantly surprised.

I was looking for a quality low-priced flat iron. This is well worth the money. This flat iron works really well.
No one would think that it only cost $25 from using it, and it really does work for coarse hair.
I have really thick hair and it works almost as good as the babyliss series flat iron my stylist uses. My stylist's flat iron just gets a little bit hotter. It also produces body, reduces frizz, and does not dry hair out.

This flat iron IS available in some stores. After glancing at all the boxes for almost 10 minutes, i settled on this one largely based on the claim that its designed specifically for "course hair". I washed, conditioned, blow dried and greased my hair. i plugged it in, and waited 60 seconds. Then i started. As my hair is really coarse, and i have some horrible new growth (well i did last night) i started off with the temperature dial half way between medium and high. That was too hot - but i went there as thats what i used on my last flatiron (conair). So i dropped it to medium and kept going. I noticed that i could get it really close to my scalp, and it completely smoothed out my new growth. I also noticed that it still seemed a little too hot...well by the time i got used to it, i was a little closer to "low" than medium. It was really easy and comfortable to use. Glides right thru your hair, whether or not you use a styling spray (oil sheen for me).

Overall i was thoroughly shocked and impressed with this product. thinking i may be getting what i paid for, and that i would be returning it today. I LOVE this new flat iron, and i'm so glad i didnt end up spending 4 or 5 times this amount on some infomercial iron!
